I have an ingrowing hair and I don't want to die!

It's on my tummy. Must be a stray pubic hair . I can't even see the damn thing it's so ingrown. It's already got puss-y (couldn't bring myself to write that word without the -) and hasn't gone away.

My bil had one in his back that curled round and round and round - could have been there for years! He had to have a large whole cut out to remove it and could have died!

What can I do?!

go and see the doctor? use a hot compress to try to bring it out....

Have to admit to attacking any I get on my bikini line. Am quite brutal and go for it with tweezers and end up bleeding but its very satifying when you finally get the little blighter out!

go to the dr and they will remove it. (and you'll get points for your local surgery)

Yuk. You have to get the timing right if you are going to squeeze and tweeze. Once it starts getting difficult to grab it with the tweezers - or even starting to bleed around it, you need to leave it for a day or two.

I have used a needle in the past

Make sure you keep putting antiseptic on it afterwards. Pointy tweezers (sterilized with vodka/gin or surgical spirits) or sterilized needle.

I had one in my armpit about a year ago.
I gave it a good poke with a needle and left it for a couple of days, then attacked it with tweezers!

I was very satisfying to get it out. It had curled aroung and around itself, it must have been going for months.

ohhh i love those. i had one on my leg, i didnt know what it was at first it was just like a black mark and then i squeezed it and no word of a lie the hair must of been about 7 inches long. i look forward to getting them now
