For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I'm cleaning. Late night cleaning. 100 made me write a things to do list and now i've started cleaning behind things and in things and under things. That's three things ticked off my things to do list.

I'm off to clean over things and around things.

TooTicky · 08/11/2007 22:43

Boco, you are mad. Cleaning is for mornings. Go to bed.

lionheart · 08/11/2007 22:44

Is this displacement cleaning? Are you supposed to be doing something else?

Boco · 08/11/2007 22:45

Oh God probably, i'll go and look at the list..

womblingalong · 08/11/2007 22:46

Yes Boco,

lionheart · 08/11/2007 22:47

reading thread........................

pinkspottywellies · 08/11/2007 22:55

Gizmo, I haven't had cauliflower Confused

When I say my hair is beautiful, I mean it looks better than before I had it cut and coloured. Beautiful would be a stretch of the imagination!! It looks nothing like my picture by the way so no-one will recognise me at the meet, but for my pink spotty wellies

Oh and I heart 100x she gives good advice and is my inspiration

TooTicky · 08/11/2007 22:56

Not serious bickering 100x. I love 100x really but don't tell her or she'll get above herself.

about the rabbit and your ds.

pinkspottywellies · 08/11/2007 22:59

Lull, hope you're well sorry about the rabbit . I have to say your dinner rather puts my hurried bacon sandwich to shame.

Nobody can tell BBB I had a bacon sandwich!! She counts

Boco · 08/11/2007 23:01

Yes Lionheart is right, i should have been painting a picture of a dog pulling someone's dinner off a table.

Sorry about the rabbit Lully.

DD has made a hamster out of clay and painted it and made it a home in a shoe box with shredded paper and cut out pumpkin seeds and a loo roll to hide in and dandelion leaves from green paper. It will never die and I don't have to take responsibility for it or clean it out. It's an ideal pet, and her and dd2 pass it to each other carefully and lovingly. It's called Handle sometimes, and at other times Hamble.

lionheart · 08/11/2007 23:03

I'm only right because I have an unusually sparkling house and this means I have not done the thing I should be doing.

lullabyloo · 08/11/2007 23:04

I actually started to cry when the teacher told me this morning as ds had me running to school so that he could be first to get her out of the hutch
He visibly crumpled when he was told she was gone....he has been madly interested in her & even told complete strangers in town how he loved her.
I wish we had a garden...i wish i wish i wish

lionheart · 08/11/2007 23:04

It is a shame about the bunny.

lionheart · 08/11/2007 23:05

Poor DS.

lullabyloo · 08/11/2007 23:05

Awwww Boco...your dd is lovely
oh that ds would love a clay rabbit

gizmo · 08/11/2007 23:11

Poor Lully's DS and poor ole' bunny.

PSW, sorry about the confusing cauliflower thing - one glass of wine too many and poor vegetable recall leads to hairstyle embarrassment. Now going to bed to listen to Mitchell and Webb and giggle quietly to myself.

Night all.

lullabyloo · 08/11/2007 23:16

gizmo...i'm the cauliflower addict.......
always loved it raw......get through about 4 a week

must need cruciferous veg for some mineral or another

FrannyandZooey · 09/11/2007 08:31

God why haven't I got time to go on here anymore

I am so jealous that I don't know what other threads you are talking about. Seriously, I am. It is making me grumpy. I just must go to bed early, I am still knackered every morning when ds gets up at 6.30. Can't you all be funny NOW or around 6.30 at night when I can sit here as much as I want? You could do it then instead of waiting till 11 pm

and I am very very sorry about the bunny, Lully

Pink did you get my email about times?

OP posts:
fullmoonfiend · 09/11/2007 09:42

IKWYM Franny. Whenever I am on here you all talk about vegetables and *excecise8 and things [pouts]

So far this morning I have made 24 fairy buns and 48 chocolate brownies. It is ds2's class cake stall today, I am in charge and by the time you get to yr 5 all the parents are so pissed off with school demands we only have about 5 buns to sell and they are nasty 99p for a million ones from Asda

100 what is this thing you call cleaning? Can I have a list too please? My house looks as though we are on flood alert with Too Much Stuff piled everywhere.

ahundredtimes · 09/11/2007 09:45

It's a Life List FMF. There are various headings, including Things to Do (this mostly involves cleaning and buying winter coats), then there's Things At the Back of My Mind, and Middle of the Night Dramas and Awful Fears.

It's quite a neurotic list actually. I like to make them and then look at them, and then do some of the things on Things to Do section. I also like to write down the Middle of the Night Dramas in the daytime, because they don't look so bad.

Actually, it's completely nuts when I look at it written down like this.

fullmoonfiend · 09/11/2007 09:50

ohgodohgod, I am already quite neurotic. I don't think i want to validate my Awful Fears and Middle of Night Dramas by writing them down...

I am hideously disorganised though. I have no time to get organised

fullmoonfiend · 09/11/2007 09:52

I need someone to come and do Time Management Boot Camp. I am sure my priorities are all arong. My house is a slum yet I can find time to make buns and piss about on here.
