For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

I can be arsed too.

Franny, have you ever watched the film Together, by Lucas Moodyson? You have to if you haven't - it's my favourite film in the whole world. You just reminded me with the nuclear strike comment. It's about a commune in the 70s in sweden. The parents are all busy being hippies and radical and protesting, and these really gorgeous little boys are secretly playing torturous regimes in the bedroom. And protesting because they want to eat hotdogs. I'll lend it to you if you promise to give it back. Do you have a dvd player?

Avi - where do you live? Will you say? Is it some remotes scottish isle?

MrsC i used to collect buttons - my mum has my collection though, in a huge sweetie jar, and the dds favourite game is tipping them out and sorting them into little pots by colour.

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:36

I have some questions

does she sweep the floor all the time to get it so....swept looking?

does she cheat at Scrabble?

Do you miss fish since the rape of the oceans incident?

Will you let her come for lunch tomorrow?

That's what I've got for her birthday, Boco, a big glass jar to put some buttons in!

Mr Avi - your house sounds amazing - did you grow the dogwood?

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:37

Boco YES I do, will I definitely like it though? I get easily upset by films

look look be funny MrA is here

Boco · 22/10/2007 22:37

Oh look! Another husband man!
Where do you live?
Do you miss eating fish?
What's with the diggers?
Why is your house so huge and full of light and no furniture? Where is all the clutter?

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:39

we seem to be slightly fixated on fish and Avi's house, don't we?

I think he has gone. We had our chance and we blew it. he is probably off reading cod's blog now

When i watched it franny i was really sad, and it made me really happy. It's uplifting, but it has got sad bits. There's a 12 year old girl in it and i really really empathised with her, - i felt just like her when i was 12 and i found that very moving. The kids in it are so cute. I have to send it to you.

Boco · 22/10/2007 22:41

Shit Franny - why didn't you do sound effects? Or at least made yourself into a hologram.

Can't believe we blew it.

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:41

well, yes please then

he has gone hasn't he?

I think it might work for MrAvi, because i bet their house echoes with all that space and light. Might help him to feel at home.

MrsCarrot · 22/10/2007 22:45

Where's he gone, were we too slow?

Are you tending the dogwood, Mr Avi, looking out over the vast lands around your house?

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:45

hmm

well SOMEONE does housework in that house, oh yes, you aren't fooling us

cheating = being better than me

I wish her flight was booked [wistful]

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:47

I am thinking that MrA might be a calmer and perhaps more stolid type of husband that Mr100

I am basing this purely on typing speed

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:47

than Mr100

OP posts:
MrsCarrot · 22/10/2007 22:49

Maybe the wind gently blows away all the dust - everything seems to be calm and gentle around the Aviatrix household

FrannyandZooey · 22/10/2007 22:54

yes, too calm, we need FASTER typing

I must go to bed, good night all, MrAvi, lovely to see you, send your wife my way anytime
