For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Bocoreepy · 27/10/2007 23:42

I need to go to bed.

I may be visiting MrsC tomorrow if her family are well enough.

I have 'pumpkin up the jam' going round in my head now.

zippitippitoes · 27/10/2007 23:43

with you lot I mean

FrannyandZooey · 27/10/2007 23:44

yes I am off too, goodnight all

Boco hope you can meet MrsC

I wish I had met even one of you before, from the beginning of this meet up I had Greeny in an armlock saying she was coming and now she has cancelled, I am bricking myself rather a lot

I am so shit at crowds

OP posts:
Bocoreepy · 27/10/2007 23:46

Oh don't brick it.
I'm not really good at crowds either. Maybe we should do small groups and rotate slowly?

You can always meet me, come on the train anytime and i'll meet you in diss! There's a nice veggie cafe and a park with a lake.

FrannyandZooey · 27/10/2007 23:49

ooh thank you Boco

may take you up on that

pinkspottywellies · 27/10/2007 23:57

Perhaps people could speak on the phone first. We'd at least get over the accent thing then! Might help with nerves. I hope everyone doesn't chicken out and leave me sitting in a cafe on my own (with dh and dd of course but on my 10/10 own)

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 00:08

i'll be there if i can manage to meet strange men i can meet strange women

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 00:09

i realise that that may be exactly the kind of thing ehich worries people however

BBBee · 28/10/2007 08:25

(see zippi - we all ran like the wind when you said that)

BBBee · 28/10/2007 08:28

Just to clarify - the meet up is going to be FAB-TASTTIC!

We all 'know' each other really well and speak most days (well not me anymore and I am most sad about that but that is a whole other post). It is going to be so wonderful to meet you all. Look at how excited we get when someone puts up a photo - it is going to be like that only 100x (haha) better.

See I met Boco - I was a little nervous and we did a polite thing for about - what - 8seconds and then it quickly snapped into a most familiar banter - the type I only have with very old dear friends - so you see this works. These relationships we have made on here transpose and are better for meeting.

I promise.

It is going to be wonderful and we will all feel nourished and enriched by actual real contact with like minded wonders.

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 08:49

ah that's nice

ghoulmoonfiend · 28/10/2007 09:03

I am now excited about the meet-up . I am nt scared at all any more.

Do me in two words, do me!!!
(childish and demanding???)

TT - I am sorry about the t-shirts, I would have worn worn if it made you all happy but I am not a pink glittery prson and I CANNOT have filhtymindedvixen emblazoned accrross my non-existnt chest. Or fullmoonfiend...?

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 09:04

Good morning
I have had porridge with raisins and apple.
We're going to Egyptian family day at the museum.

BBBee · 28/10/2007 09:06

FMF - strong and vulnerable

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 09:08

Oh fmf (gmf?) I had an idea about that this morning. People who want a T shirt can have one of course, and people who don't can identify themselves in a different way - for example, you could place a moon somewhere about your person, and PSW could have a small welly. See?

BBBee · 28/10/2007 09:08

okay now this is how shit I am and I feel shit about this. I don not like indoors soft play with all the colours and electric lights and forced 'play' - it hurts my soul.

We are going there in a few minutes becuase I know I will get an hour or so (in total - not a full hour) to organise my reading and my head.

I feel shit about this though, we should be wearing coats and jumpers and kicking leaves in a wood.

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 09:08

fmf = loopy and knowledgeable. And lovely of course.

BBBee · 28/10/2007 09:09

toot - "missing jeans" (kicks parcel under the desk - again)

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 09:09

i said i would wear combats with zips

TooTicky · 28/10/2007 09:10

Oh Bee, I know that feeling. Some soft play places are slightly better than others however. I find windows and daylight make a big difference.

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 09:10

no not combats..think i mean cargo with zips..possibly

combats have camouflage o them do they

BBBee · 28/10/2007 09:10

I will carry a jar of live bees and wear a beekeeper suit and have one of those smoke things.

zippitippitoes · 28/10/2007 09:11

anyway my pic is on my profile so you know what i look like lol
