For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 26/10/2007 15:47

Crocheted. Yes.

Boco, you are on my mates list but not in your creepy form.

TooTicky · 26/10/2007 15:50

Where is Franny? She is not allowed to go away without telling us.

Captain Barnacle even sent ds2 a follow-up letter. How cool is that?

Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 15:53

TooTicky · 26/10/2007 15:58

here, Captain Barnacle

TooTicky · 26/10/2007 16:18

Dd2's cough is worse and she is warm and miserable

Where are you all? Somebody come and talk to me! Dd2 is sleeping and bf and made of velcro.

TooTicky · 26/10/2007 17:25

Just because you've left me on my own, that doesn't mean I'm going to tidy up or anything.

IdrisTheDragon · 26/10/2007 17:37

Hello. I am cooking vegetables.

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 26/10/2007 17:39

Hi. I am trying to cope with an ill & overtired DD1 who has refused to eat her tea.

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 26/10/2007 17:40

And I know poached egg & baked beans on toast isnt very exciting but it's Friday and we're nearly out of food.

Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 17:43

Oh dear sorry to hear about all the ill ones. It's draining isn't it - my two are only now better after what felt like weeks!

Swimming was ok, still hate the soggy sock bit.

I'm going OUT tonight! To a pub! With drinking and talking and stuff. Oh i'm so excited. Meeting some friends. And new friend is coming too.

IdrisTheDragon · 26/10/2007 17:47

Ooh - have a good evenign Boco .

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 17:57

We're having eggs and toast too (had salad and avocado for lunch)

Why did everyone get scared? I always work on a Friday afternoon. It was noticeably berserk and the hall looked like a rice cake explosion has occured at the end, but I bribed ds to help me hoover by giving him some chocolate . There were extenuating circumstances (and it was organic) but you may notice me keeping quiet on anti rewards / bribes threads for a while

lullabyloo
lully peeled you

they just sound vaguely similar and it's kind of halloweeny to go around peeling people. That is it.

I wasn't scared of you being at work, i held it together really well.

foulmoonfiend · 26/10/2007 18:02

wah! I come back from frolicking in spooky woods to find I do not recognise mumsnet. And I can't read the whole thread.
I DO NOT LIKE CHANGE!!!!

I would put an angry face but I don't wish to have the fricking halloweeny thing on.!

Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 18:07

Deep breaths now. It's ok, it'll all be fine. You can have it all back exactly as it was. You just have to customise it - click on classic mumsnet, and it all goes away

but all the hats fell off my little faces and i don't know how to get them back!

Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 18:08

When you customise, it says how many messages per page, and if you say unlimited, then it goes back normal.

foulmoonfiend · 26/10/2007 18:09

no! no!! It's Not Working!!!

It's full moon you know.

FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:21

if you want halloween smilies put an h in front

OP posts:
FrannyandZooey · 26/10/2007 18:22

omg at halloweeny to go around peeling people

that is too macabre

OP posts:
Bocoreepy · 26/10/2007 18:25

No more than a rotting scar! It doesn't necessarily mean a full body peel, could just be a bit of chaffed skin.
