Some years I am more sensitive to side effects / reactions than others.

How are the reported levels of side effects this year?

Yes, had it on Thursday. Nothing in terms of reactions, I’ve not heard of anyone who’s reported anything yet.
I work in the NHS so we all get vaccinated annually

plixy · 17/10/2020 12:10

I had it couple weeks ago. So have my parents and in laws. No reactions or side effects from anyone.

AlexaShutUp · 17/10/2020 12:10

Yes, had it two weeks ago. Did not experience any side effects.

MrsCat1 · 17/10/2020 12:10

I had mine last week. Slightly achey all over the next day but fine thereafter.

SqidgeBum · 17/10/2020 12:12

I had it about 2 weeks ago. I dont normally get it but I am pregnant. I had no side effects at all, not even a sore arm or a bruise. It was like it never happened.

BeyondMyWits · 17/10/2020 12:15

Not yet... my "priority" flu vaccination will be in late November.

Mapless · 17/10/2020 12:15

I had it early this morning. So far so good.

FrancesHaHa · 17/10/2020 12:18

Not yet. Pharmacy told me they should have stocks at the end of the month.

FrancesHaHa · 17/10/2020 12:19

I normally get it easily at this time of year. Not sure if this is linked to companies buying up stocks, or do NHS have a set amount and more people taking it up

Useruseruserusee · 17/10/2020 12:20

I had mine two weeks ago through work (teacher). No side effects at all aside from an aching arm for a day.

FourPlasticRings · 17/10/2020 12:20

Yes, about three weeks ago. No issues to report, slightly sore arm lasted about a day.

CountessFrog · 17/10/2020 12:21

Yes, I work in the NHS.

I had really achey legs the following night, bit of a sniffle, nothing else, it was ten days ago.

Parkandride · 17/10/2020 12:21

Arm hurt more this year but only lasted a day Smile

diplodocusinermine · 17/10/2020 12:22

Yes, last week - no side effects. DH on Thursday, no side effects.

Playdoughbum · 17/10/2020 12:22

Last week. Sore arm but I’ve had worse. No other effects Smile

bengalcat · 17/10/2020 12:22

Have it annually as work in NHS . Never had a reaction to flu or indeed any vaccine .

MozzchopsThirty · 17/10/2020 12:23

Nothing at all this year not even an achy arm

DumplingsAndStew · 17/10/2020 12:23

This all sounds really positive thank you. I've had an invitation to book mine, but need to consider timing etc to make sure I can navigate side effects around caring duties etc.

OP posts:
TheBlueStocking · 17/10/2020 12:23

I've had it. No after effects apart from aching at the site of the injection.

TheChippendenSpook · 17/10/2020 12:23

This is the first year I haven't felt awful afterwards. It's not unusual for me to feel rubbish at this time of year though.

Wetweekend99 · 17/10/2020 12:24

I had it a while ago. (Nhs) no side effects not even an achey arm this year.

Audreyseyebrows · 17/10/2020 12:26

Yes, feeling quite yucky and a swollen arm.

Themarvellousmrsm · 17/10/2020 12:26

Yes 2 weeks ago, my arm felt like it had been punched hard for a few days afterwards but I usually get this.

Dh felt unwell for the rest of the day then fine.

Eccle80 · 17/10/2020 12:36

I had mine a couple of weeks ago, very sore arm with a big hot red raised area, but it did settle down within a week. Otherwise ok in myself.

Bickles · 17/10/2020 12:40

Yes, DH and I have had it, as have my parents. Achy arm for a day, otherwise fine but I’ve never had side effects from a jab.
