Astonishingly good news about dh

Dh has had a return of a lot of his cancer symptoms over the last month or so.

He has had to go back onto pain relief patches, and has needed other opiates to keep the pain away. His appitite is reduced, be has less energy etc.

So 3 weeks ago he had a scan and we got the results today. We were utterly convinced that this would show major tumour growth and spread.

THERE IS NO REGROWTH AT ALL!!!!!!!!

Can't belive it. Doc is still naturally concerned that he has return of symptoms and is getting the radiograpgers to check for mini tumours, but basically she is very plaesed with result.

And so am I

Ironically DH has a temp atmm and is feling poorly.

But can't beleive how *relativly) good this news is.

Soooo pleased

As another RAF wife, all credit to them for paying for the non-funded bits

bossykate · 19/09/2007 19:30

hurrah!

SauerKraut · 19/09/2007 19:31

That's wonderful, MB!

Great news MB. I'm really pleased for you all.
I hope this good news is a boost to MrMB, and helps him to feel better and positive and able to enjoy life to the full.

MB only just seen this - so pleased to open it and find it is from you. Great great news

(BTW also pleased that although (or maybe because?) this is such a difficult time you are still able to give us your words of wit and wisdom.

Particularly liked the "one line to ruin great fiction" thread! )

martianbishop it is evidently a good week for cancer patients... my friend with the grade 4 glioma (brain tumour) had an MRI last week and was told yesterday that the residual tumour is shrinking with her chemo.... first bit of good news she has had since it was diagnosed in april/may! we are all so delighted, the fight seems just a little less one sided now
hope onlyjoking has good news soon too.

foxinsocks · 21/09/2007 19:19
