BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOT

kimi · 30/07/2007 22:08

Thank you all, I know poop is not the best topic so I do appreciate you all taking time to offer advice.

I have a rock solid tummy at the moment and I feel sick too.

I have beetroot, its in a jar but I am eating it.

CatIsSleepy · 30/07/2007 22:11

pickled beetroot? is that really going to help, desi??

StarryStarryNight · 30/07/2007 22:17

Kimi, sure you didnt put your tampon in the wrong place?

No seriously, pickled beetroot is also supposed to help. But also try some live youghurt and those drinks with those bacteria, they help to regulate the gut.

kimi · 30/07/2007 22:17

I like beetroot, hopefully it might help.

I feel like I want to go, and I get to the loo and can't/don't go.

This has never happened before, I have taken the senna for the last 2 days as well as fruit and water and even bran flakes......

SSN LOL......Do you think if I drink the probiotic drinks I get the children that would help?

i would try fybrogel.you can get it in different flavours and is not at all unpleasant,i used it after an operation.its good. Also get a box of kellogs bran flakes this will help too and drink plenty of water.

StarryStarryNight · 30/07/2007 22:20

They could very well help, if they contain those bacteria, cant remember the name of them. But it is not going to help instantly.

You must have a massive build up, if I were you I would leg it down to asda or any night open pharmacy and get some chemical solution.

StarryStarryNight · 30/07/2007 22:21

sorry mummylin, NOT the bran flakes, the bran STICKS they are much higher in fibre than the flakes. Kellogs All Bran is what you want.

mummylin2495 · 30/07/2007 22:23

ooh starry i dont like that !!!

winestein · 30/07/2007 22:23

Lactulose worked almost instantly with me. I was pregnant and about 2 weeks with a no-show. Two hours later, in Sainsburys.....

kimi · 30/07/2007 22:24

Got a 24 hour Tesco, but as I have already taken the max amount of senna not sure if i can/should take something else as well today.
Will call GP first thing though and see if he can give me something stronger.

As well as the fruit, water, pills and branflakes todat I have now had some beetroot and 2 of the little drinky things, feel more bloated but hoping it will work (did not like the little drink things)

CatIsSleepy · 30/07/2007 22:27

maybe stop eating stuff til tomorrow kimi if nothings's working! you'll just make yourself more uncomfortable

StarryStarryNight · 30/07/2007 22:27

KIMI. I think you may be looking at suppositories next. I actually ended up in A&E for bad constipation, they gave me something to put up my bum, and two minutes later, the biggest tummy cramps in the UNIVERSARE. And then relief

BecauseImWorthIt · 30/07/2007 22:28

Just keep on drinking water - glass after glass after glass ...

kimi · 30/07/2007 22:32

Think I will go to bed and hope for relief in the morning, before having to go to the DR.

I think I should have seen the Dr before now as I know he is going to give me one of those looks and ask why I left it 11 days.

Thank you all again, hoping it does not come to having to put things up my bottom, Kids now think its a game and every time I come out of the loo shout "have you been yet?"

Thinking the plunger might be an option at this point

BIWI I am drinking so much water I am peeing every two mins, my mother ever suggested boiled water with sugar in it, (as I am diabetic I think she is trying to kill me) but I did try a small amount and apart from blood sugar going up nothing!
