For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

LOL they were quite diverting though weren't they FMF

god I miss all the people on that thread being around regularly

pinkspottywellies · 25/07/2007 22:52

Lentil Moussaka
Baked sweet potato also makes a nice change from regular jacket potatoes. I like cottage cheese and bacon with mine. Fajitas are a favourite in our house, peppers stuffed with quinoa are a recent addition to my repetoire courtesy of my sil if you'd like to hear how we do them.
What do you do BBB that you're bored of?

BBBBasilisk · 25/07/2007 22:53

well last few days I have done bean stew, dhal, sausage and mash, houmus and dips, pasta with tuna - those are the last few meals that come to mind.

pinkspottywellies · 25/07/2007 22:54

I SAID..... I wonder what people think look like?

TooTicky · 25/07/2007 22:54

PSW, if you're still there I'll stick the photies up again

TooTicky · 25/07/2007 22:55

I think you have quite a lot of blondish curly hair. I see you, predictably, in pink spotty wellies.

BBBBasilisk · 25/07/2007 22:55

that lentil thing looks nice - I assumed red lentils and there is no potato - did you have it with salad? Will put it on my list.

pinkspottywellies · 25/07/2007 23:05

Thanks TooT - Lovely photos! I like the nudie with the bowl. Was that the 'jam'?!
BBB we had the moussaka on it's own but got a bit hungry again quite soon afterwards. Probably better to have with potato or salad.

TooTicky · 25/07/2007 23:07

It's dd2, she was making (eating!)a sort of flapjack thing. She adores cooking.

pinkspottywellies · 25/07/2007 23:07

By the way, I do have have blond hair (from a bottle) but not a curl in sight! And no pink spotty yet but they're on my Christmas list. I do have purple sparkly wellies though

TooTicky · 25/07/2007 23:09

Ah well. I was vastly wrong about LL too.

pinkspottywellies · 25/07/2007 23:10

I know what you mean about LL though!

FrannyandZooey · 26/07/2007 08:21

I am crap at knowing what people look like. Just show us

I am eating AT LAST an edible peach (well, 3). They were still too hard and starting to show spots of mould on the outside but I have managed to get quite a lot of good fruit from them. What is it with peaches this year? Also eating a wodge of pineapple, and some raisins. Might even eat a vegetable later.

ok, I don't know what program you have, but in Windows Picture Viewer, click on "closes this program and opens image for editing". It looks like a little picture, on the bottom right. Then click on "image" (top left), select "stretch and skew" from drop down menu. Enter different figures into the boxes for horizontal and vertical stretch, eg 50% will make it half the size, and so on.

Then go to "file" (top left), select "save as" from drop down menu, and save your picture somewhere you can find it (eg desktop, select from drop down menu) and give it a name.

HTH

PSW - can't believe you thought I look like Mrs Weasley

MrsCarrot · 26/07/2007 10:38

I don't have red hair despite my namesake. Always fancied a titian mane though, probably after reading the thorn birds, too young as usual.

I have had a nectarine and an apple.

ahundredtimes · 26/07/2007 10:39

Ah here you are Mrs C. I wondered if you gone orf in your teepee? When is this?

MrsCarrot · 26/07/2007 10:40

Boco -where near Holkham are you camping? Stiffkey is our usual haunt, couldn't face traditional camping this year, our tipi is all ready to get in. I miss the marsh though.

MrsCarrot · 26/07/2007 10:40

Hi 100! Saturday, amnd I'm not organised at all

ahundredtimes · 26/07/2007 10:41

Oh how exciting. Hope it stops raining for you.....

MrsCarrot · 26/07/2007 10:43

me too, I have bought a PROPER raincoat! It must be because I am nearly thirty. I kept saying to the man in Millets, 'does it make me look frumpy, does it? Because I'm not really, I'm only 29 you know'. Probably though I was a right weirdo, tiresome at the very least.

MrsCarrot · 26/07/2007 10:43

How was Southwold?

ahundredtimes · 26/07/2007 10:45

I reckon he's had a lot in this summer, cod got a kag in a bag if I remember rightly. Everyone's in there buying them and saying loudly, 'Of course it's only for this weekend' and laughing too loudly and saying, 'does it come with accessories' but rushing home secretly relieved and triumphant.

ahundredtimes · 26/07/2007 10:46

Oh was good trip, but I kept crying rather madly and irritatingly. Can't even remember why. I loved Walberswick and Dunwich and we had midnight adventures at Framlingham Castle. Was fun actually, with TWO whole days of sunshine.
