How many times would you say you fill yours during the course of a period?

I think Franny said it was about three times for a whole period, but let's just say I'm ahead of that on day two alone... and [ow]

I'm thinking of getting a ticker... [wry grin]

you're a dry old stick.

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 15:44

apparently so

TyrannosaurusRex · 29/05/2007 15:44

well, mine is so much more interesting. i love fanny-talk, tbh. none of my friends indulge me.

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 15:45

yes yours IS more interesting so that's fair enough.

yes don't think you can expect me to sit around and listen to your clot talk if we ever meet in RL you know

it is only on here that I can handle the visceral stuff

TyrannosaurusRex · 29/05/2007 15:48

for the woman who introduced me to the delights of the mooncup, anything...
you should make your own, you know. call it the frannycup. people will always wonder about the extra R.

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 15:50

I was wondering the other day quite how I stumbled into this Mooncup messiah type role

I have only had mine a few months you know

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 15:50

did you see what Pruni made me, btw? Ruddy superb

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 15:52

the one and only Frannycup holder

NineUnlikelyTales · 29/05/2007 16:06

What are these kegels thingies people have mentioned, please?

skibump · 29/05/2007 16:17

NineUnlikelyTales, I was wondering that too, but being on the NannyL end of the spectrum perhaps I just don't need to know?

TyrannosaurusRex · 29/05/2007 16:29

yer pelvic floor excercises, laydeez.
and franny... what despicable things do i have to do to Pruni to get a frannycupholder?

FrannyandZooey · 29/05/2007 18:31

I don't know Aitch, I did so many that I forgot which one finally did the trick

(you could just email her and be very, very flattering about it?)

NineUnlikelyTales · 29/05/2007 19:58

Oh and they sounded so glamourous, like Posh would do them and you could get a wristband to wear

TyrannosaurusRex · 29/05/2007 20:34

lol

hunkermunker · 29/05/2007 22:10

Franny, no, I didn't see the thread about adhesions? Will search.

Aitch, you poor love - I didn't know you'd had two ectopics Not that one wouldn't be sad or that two's - oh, darn it all, I hope you know what I mean

I think this sort of thing is why I get SO cross about men going on about "oh, is it your time of the month" like it's some kind of thing that calls for a bit of unsympathetic eye-rolling. If I'm feeling very feisty, I tell them exactly what happens to me, exactly what I've had done (including the burst ovarian cyst - oh...pain...you were exquisite and...well, painful). They shut the f up then, usually.

TyrannosaurusRex · 29/05/2007 22:13

lolol at the exquisite pain, hunker. i've done that 'oh dear i must fall over in mortal agony' thing too. it's an interesting feeling...

and oh yes, two ectopics. i've had both of the main treatments, that's why i'm such an expert on MN... bah!
