My periods have always been okay. Never hurt, bled for 5 days usually until I developed pcos. Period then were wobbly but I was never in pain and it was for 3/5 days. Just not every month
I had ds 10 weeks ago and 2 days ago I came on since the birth.
It's horrific. I'm doubled over, I'm dizzy with it and paracetamol doesn't help me at all.
I wear a super heavy tampon, a pad, two pairs of kickers and I keep bleeding through it when I'm wearing it all at the same time. I've just woke up to find myself feeling soaked and sore and the amount of blood in my bed. I Could cry. I'm getting a doctors appointment first thing today but someone please hold my hand and tell me this can be normal

Dinoraw, are you o.k.?

PP has posted in the wrong thread or is a spammer.

I'm really sorry to read this, OP, and it sounds as if all 111 will say is to tell you to go to A&E - which you can't do for a while. Is there not one somewhere reasonably near to you open now, though? (I don't live in England any more so have no idea what goes on these days. The NHS has deteriorated drastically over the years but I had thought it was still good in emergencies. I am shocked you can't be seen till 8.00am.)
Good luck, I hope it gets sorted quickly when you see a doctor and that you get pain relief soon.

Curlywurlywurly · 06/06/2018 06:20

Op, please seek immediate medical help. Call an ambulance if needed.

TenuedeNimes · 06/06/2018 06:20

Cross-posted with a whole crowd Smile

OP, ask your husband to take urgent action so you can be seen by someone asap.

BettyPitts · 06/06/2018 06:22

You need to go to A&E. Go now

MrsSchadenfreude · 06/06/2018 06:26

Please go to A & E

Dinoraw · 06/06/2018 06:27

Only thing is we don't drive and the nearest hospital to us now is the one which opens at 8am unless I can get an out of hours doctor. I'm not sure if I need to pay for them though. This is the next option. My mom has suggested paramedics. But they take time to come out here now. Dp is phoning

Get an ambulance, they won't mind.

huha · 06/06/2018 06:29

Call 999. You are bleeding a crazy amount by the sounds of it and need to be seen NOW, in a place where you can be set up on a drip and taken care of quickly. A GP Office can't do that.

Anerak · 06/06/2018 06:29

Call an ambulance. Good luck

Downeyhouse · 06/06/2018 06:30

Getting medical help is the best thing.

I had periods like that in my early 30s. Turned out that following pregnancy my womb lining had become incredibly thick.

3 months of hormone tablets sorted it out and the problem never returned.

You do need medical help and hopefully they can solve the issue for you.

AJPTaylor · 06/06/2018 06:31

phone an ambulance then!

BikeRunSki · 06/06/2018 06:37

Phone an ambulance.

Fairylea · 06/06/2018 06:43

Are you in the UK? Surely A and E is open 24 hours.

Ring for an ambulance. This is very serious.

eurochick · 06/06/2018 06:46

Please call 999. This sounds like more than a heavy period.

MrsJonesAndMe · 06/06/2018 06:52

Hope you got an ambulance. Sounds very worrying.

youarenotkiddingme · 06/06/2018 06:57

Please get seen ASAP.

About a year ago there was another poster in the same situation - can't remember what was wrong but they ended up in hospital for a few days and it was serious.

For a start that amount of blood loss will affect your BP and iron levels. In turn that affects heart etc. I know that sounds scary and dramatic but if you were losing that amount of blood from your arm or leg you wouldn't think twice about an ambulance or A and E.

Stickywhitelovepiss · 06/06/2018 07:00

it was sepsis for one lady and ectopic pregnancy for another and in both cases getting to a & e saved their lives.

lostfrequencies · 06/06/2018 07:00

You poor poor love. I hope you get the help you need xx

minmooch · 06/06/2018 07:04

Hope you've got the help you need. Sounded like an A&E job via 999.

widgetbeana · 06/06/2018 07:08

Please seek help now.

I ended up with a simple to fix, but potentially very dangerous uterine infection after my birth.

I was fine for quite a while, then suddenly got a high temp and had some very odd discharge/ bleed. Everyone I spoke to was very clear that post birth issues can take up to 3 months to fully develop. Please seek help.m

Labradoodliedoodoo · 06/06/2018 07:09

Hope you’re getting help now

beetfarmer · 06/06/2018 07:14

Yes go to a&e or call an ambulance. I had similar and was put on blood clotting meds to stop the bleeding and antibiotics incase of infection. I lost a lot of blood and had tachycardia.

Dobby1sAFreeElf · 06/06/2018 07:15

Hope you're getting help now Flowers

MollyHuaCha · 06/06/2018 07:26
