popsycal - how are your knees? My knees hurt!

RosaLuxembourg · 26/05/2007 19:30

OK better late than never - I have finally done my measured mile - 10 minutes 4 seconds and I ran all the way (albeit slowly). I will try to do under 10 minutes next time.

hi everyone!
How are we all doing?

I am eventually back to normal with my knees i hope. Took a pair of trainers for severe overpronators (rolling in), thinking about not 'jogging' and being bouncy, and resting my knees. Back on track I hope as I would really like to run all the way around. Still got abotu 5-6 weeks to go but still just finished week 3 of the 'run a bit walk a bit' training schedule as I back tracked a bit due to my knees.....

Did 3 miles today - had to do 33 mins with two thirds running so thought i would go on a 3 mile course and see how far i got! I finished it before my 33 mins were up. I was very surprised

Well done Popsycal. I am aiming for a sub 10-min mile tomorrow and increasing it to 2 miles on Saturday.
