Clearly, Madame, you are infested with a tapeworm that has reached maturity. Its tail section is under your duodenum, aka your left side directly under your last rib, and it's head is making a bid for safety through your fanjo, hence the twitching.

number 3 means you're just spotty

It's your waistline trying to escape

bundle · 11/04/2007 15:35

one of my friends has this thing she calls pizza back (she is a doctor ) and is having some new treatment on it which seems to be working.

pruni, have you got a blue tit in there,if you pardon the expression..

oh i wasn't insinuating re: your spots, just quoting another weird health thing.

what about great tits?

bran · 11/04/2007 15:40

I know what the red dots are, but I can't remember now. Sorry, that's not at all helpful is it? I have them on my tummy and chest. They all started quite small and flat but some of them are bigger than dots now and not so flat anymore. When I was having a full physical done to be approved to adopt the gp said what they are called, but like I say I've forgotten now. They are harmless though.

Could the fluttering under your rib be another muscle twitch?

harpsichordcarrier · 11/04/2007 15:40

i can confirm that pruni has great tits

bundle · 11/04/2007 15:40

I knew it, harpsi!

harpsichordcarrier · 11/04/2007 15:41

(no idea about the other things though, sorry)

ValnBen · 11/04/2007 15:44

Hi Pruni ? you are not alone with #1 and #3?

I get the fluttering ? not all the time. Reminds me of when I was preggers sometimes

As for #3 ? From what you describe it sound like Spider Nuvea [sp?] ? that?s what my doc dx?d anyway?..after loads of tests for Liver function I was passed ok, but still no explanation of what?s causing them. Had them for about 15 years now ? get more every year so can?t be too life threatening?.I hope.

tinkerbellhadpiles · 11/04/2007 15:45

Speckly rashes are normally an indiation of a slight allergic reaction - take a piriton and they will probably vanish.

Or you have spider mites, in which case post in gardening for advice

hunkermunker · 11/04/2007 15:50

Tip for the romantic candlelight spot-spotting - keep yer vest on

bundle · 11/04/2007 15:50

i get the fluttering but on my back, it's purely psychological and goes way back to when I was 8 or 9 and stung by a bee on my chest. after the initial hysteria, mum pulled off my tshirt (lovely yellow acrylic, v neck with brown trim, very Life on Mars) and administered first aid.

10 minutes later I was having a sausage roll (like you do) and the blighter was crawling on my back (though nearly dead) - eeeeeek and the sensation returns even to this day.

ValnBen · 11/04/2007 15:58

Knew that wasn?t spelt correctly ? should have been Spider naevi

SlightlyMadSlug · 11/04/2007 15:58

Pruni - I am just about to start a thread about No 3 - watch this space...

the little red dots are spider naevi I think

I have sharp intermittent stabbing pains in my chest, on the left above the breast. have had them for a few years now, mentioned it to GP but he just smirked and ignored me.

also have a verruca I've had for about 10 years, it just doesn't go away

I have a chronic infection in my belly button, it comes back whenever I am stressed/tired, it goes all red and inflamed and oozes stinky stuff

Also I have chronic tension all over and various clicky bits where an ache builds up and can only be relieved by clicking. [weirdo]

Oblomov · 11/04/2007 16:05

I have a wierd thing / spot/ bump on the back of my neck that comes and goes - does that qualify ?

Oblomov · 11/04/2007 16:06

Greeny, your verruca and stinky belly button things are GROSS

Twiglett · 11/04/2007 16:07

hey I'd swap your fluttering for the pain I get in exactly the same place .. I've self-diagnosed as mild diverticulitis (fairly benign condition)

Greenleeves · 11/04/2007 16:07

also I sometimes get these weird little tiny deep blisters on my fingers - usually on the sides - sometimes little clusters of them, and if I burst them they release this weird stretchy gluey stuff

hunkermunker · 11/04/2007 16:07

Pruni, you're inviting a group of hairy-handed truckers to tackle your fluttery vulva?
