Oh poor you, essbee.
Sorry SS were not more helpful, but let's hope they get some kind of support for you pretty soon!
Glad to hear DS is better now though.

Some people appear to cope ok, when really they aren't coping that great at all!
You cope with a lot, essbee.

Oh essbee, it all sounds very very tough.
Sorry I had retired to my bed before I saw your last posts last night.

Did you tell all this to SS? It really is so much for you to try & cope with alone.
I wish I lived nearer you.x

pinkchampagne · 05/04/2007 09:09

I take it you never got those sleeping tablets for DS?

gess · 05/04/2007 09:15

Hope its better than expected today essbee. Do they sedate him for the ECG (sorry I know nothing about these things- is that done routinely/can you request it?). When ds1 needed his x-ray it took 4 adults to hold him down (one had to run away before the photo- another nurse went well beyond the call of duty and donned a lead vest to help restrain him). He only needed to be still for a few seconds and we still didn't manage to get the shot they needed- have no idea how 15 minutes would even be possible, and your ds is bigger than my ds1.

They do know not to make him queue don't they? (That made a huge difference to our last hospital visit- would have been impossible with queueing).

Pinkchampagne · 06/04/2007 09:54

Hope the ECG went ok yesterday, essbee.

hi essbee, don't know how I missed all your updates but so pleased to hear it all went well.

Really hope you get some good news from SS in 2 weeks time.
