Waiting for NHS24 to call me back.

On day 2 of coamoxiclav for antibiotics for kidney infection.

Don't feel too horrific but temp still 40c 1 hr after Paracetamol

Supposed to be going on local holiday today.

Managed to pack.

Do you think they'll let me go or will I have to go to hospital?

Been waiting ages and stressed out

I've got Ofloxacin and Metro-something. But was given Amoxicillin last time and it did work.
Glad you seem to be on the mend OP (however slowly) thanks for the update (and the reminder to take tablets 🙈!)

LouKout · 11/04/2017 01:24

Hope you are on mend soon too!

Any improvement?

LouKout · 11/04/2017 09:18

Well..temp has been dipping below 37 (my normal) for first time. But don't feel amazing. Very tired, probably as was awake with sore side for hours in night. But hopefully am getting there.

Fingers crossed you're recovering then. Do you still get the bladder issues such as frequency and pain on urination when it's gone in to the kidneys?

LouKout · 11/04/2017 09:29

I hadnt been having them but did yesterday for some reason. Very odd.

Have stayed on the coamoxiclav since tum settled a bit and it seems to be working
