"Old Lady" Flabby Arm Nightmare!

Whilst trying on stuff this week I noticed to my horror that I have flabby upper arms. Just the back - obviously my biceps are nicely toned from 5 years of carrying small children about.

In 4 weeks I have to wear a sleeveless bridesmaid's dress - how can I tone my arms before then??

Commonly known as 'bingo arms'

Easily toned as per Beety's instructions. Good luck!

Mind you even Carol Vorderman has flabby old lady upper arms. Quite cheered me up when I noticed - means I needn't bother doing anything about mine (not that I was going to anyway. I never go sleeveless so you can't see them!)

codswallop · 24/06/2004 16:01

lol a soupy as brideamisd

CountessDracula · 24/06/2004 16:02

Willow very kindly lied and told me I didn't have them the other week when we were clothes shopping.

codswallop · 24/06/2004 16:02

will you be as attracive as theses dragons?

SoupDragon · 24/06/2004 16:09

I did some weights stuff last night but had no idea what to do - figured tha anything that felt like it might hurt the problem area next day would be good. I don't really "do" sleeveless very often but this is unavoidable!

Coddy, I will be the tall one on the end. Technically I'm a Matron "Oooh no missus!" and should be dressed as Hattie Jaques. I certainly have the arms for it!

Although my hair will be up and looking glamourous (won't it essbee?)

CountessDracula · 24/06/2004 16:14

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 16:14

The one in the middle is seriously scary!!!

Janh · 24/06/2004 16:15

Coddy, where did you find these people? They're all mad. Nerethel with sword
elf family pointing

Soupy, are you an elf too?

Janh · 24/06/2004 16:15

(Nerethel is the groom apparently.)

Northerner · 24/06/2004 16:16

The one in the middle is the she devil I think.

Janh · 24/06/2004 16:17

Angeliz, the one in the middle is the bride!

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 16:17

ROFL, POOR GROOM! He probably doesn't dare say no with that evil stare!!!

Angeliz · 24/06/2004 16:18

Bless, i shouldn't be nasty, she looks so happy!!

SoupDragon · 24/06/2004 16:26

LOL!

Actually, being dressed as an elf might be preferable to the sleeveless dress. It's in my least favourite colour. Or maybe a dragon costume...?

SoupDragon · 24/06/2004 16:28

To be fair, the red eye hasn't done them any favours.

Have to go but MUST read all that page later CD. Just skimmed and it's hilarious! (Quite like the second dress in a wierd gothicy kinda way)

Janh · 24/06/2004 16:37

Is the second dress the one made of Airedale? (I thought it was more Persian cat.)

Gingerbear · 24/06/2004 16:45

re elvin wedding piccies - Isn't that Dawn French??

btw, why not pinch some of the excess tulle from horrid wedding frocks to cover bingo wings??
