Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA, Christmas has been busy and we've suffered a bereavement. All the more reason to look forward and look after ourselves.
I think I'm going to stick to my previous goals and attempt to consolidate my previous (mixed) success.
(1) 8.5k steps
(2) 7 fruit and veg (erring on the side of more veg)
(3) ten minutes yoga
I could do with adding some mindfulness in but I want to get my other goals on a solid footing first. I will add in:
(4) Do something nice for myself every day
What are your low key, positive commitments for January (starting tomorrow, natch).

Yesterday was a great day for fruit & veg, good steps, no yoga and treats were over (but not totally out of control!)
Days where I achieve 50:50 feel generally pretty good.
For February, I'm going to introduce a 10pm bedtime, with a 9.30 bedtime 'routine' (no screens, stretching, brush teeth etc). If I'm less tired I'm hoping I'll be less hungry too.

Yesterday was good for fruit & veg and that's it. Onwards and upwards.

Hello Alice and fellow tryers. Steps are still on target for me, not bad on the fruit and vegetables front.
I'm afraid I'm having problems with the treat rationing, emotional eatingSad.

Sorry I've been absent but still I have been mindful of this thread. Koko everyone.

Just checking in, steps have been ok - 15K yesterday but only 7K today as it was torrential rain for school run so took the car. Then I had dental work done & spent the afternoon on the sofa recovering. So my fruit & veg has been rubbish today. I'm not too hopeful about my opportunities to walk this weekend.....

Alice if you have a newer iPhone there is a section under "clock" where you can programme in your bedtime, how many hours you want to sleep for etc. I used it for a bit, but kept over-ruling it & going to bed too late.

It's good to see the lighter nights & mornings though, it won't be long now till I leave at 5pm in daylight.

So far today, treats overran, steps will be hit, fruit and veg hit, may or may not do yoga depending how the decorating goes. I'll let you know about bedtime tomorrow!

Things not too good with elderly parents Alice Sad. Thanks for asking. I return from a visit and hit the chocolate I'm afraid.

Steps still doing well and fruit and vegetables almost there though.

Sorry told that's rubbish Flowers.
Walking and yoga on track today, food was 'social' shall we say and I'm still up! Off to bed now though.

How's everyone doing? I've been doing well on the walking, and better with the snacks, a bit meh with the fruit & veg. However, just as I get back in to things, it's about to be 1/2 term here, which means less activity. I'm going to stay with my parents & take the kids. Then I'm increasing my hours at work so the challenge will continue....
