I've lost consciousness a couple of times, but always "come to" before I hit the deck - never actually gone out cold. Just wondered how common it is really!

Never actually but very nearly a good few times, always when i've been on my feet for too long and haven't eaten enough.

This has quite often been in the middle of crowds at rock gigs or festivals. A couple of those times were when standing ankle deep in mud, and all I could think was "must get to somewhere where if i fall over i won't land in mud!!". Always JUST manage to make it somewhere in time.

Yep, once when pregnant in a queue for McDonalds (cravings ) It was too hot, they were lovely and offered me whatever I wanted for free - unfortunately I felt like crap so it was a wasted opportunity.

I fainted in Marseilles when I wsa 4 months pregnant. Had gone over for a Chelsea match and was walking around a market and that's about the last thing I remember! Came to and I had my head between my knees sitting on the pavement (dh had arranged me in that position).

The French took no notice at all and just walked over me .
