Having a bad bout of depression at the moment and have just tried cranial osteopathy. Is there anything else (apart from ads ) that you would recommend? I'll try anything at this stage

Hallo
I have been thinking alot about this thread the last few days cause I have not been feeling on top of the world.

I would like to start a new thread in the spiritual etc board if anybody is interested - a space for sharing and support i.e. moving the spirit (don´t want to say depressed as it is for me a low energy word)

Anybody interested?

juniper68 · 08/05/2004 10:20

Had a really good, positive session with my therapist this morning and then found out that chocolate is a good source of magnesium - wayhey!! Not good for my weight though

I just need to keep 'up' now, which is always the hardest part but am going for my second cranial osteopathy session tomorrow morning so that will help. Feeling good

REALLY glad to hear it, ghengis

brill news ghengis. I can't wait to hear how u feel after your second co

my ds2 is going for his 3rd (and last for a while) co treatment tomorrow

ghengis · 11/05/2004 16:50

J68 and others, I had my second session today and feel much better. Not that my depression has been lifted but I have a tremendous feeling of wellbeing. I felt very lightheaded and spacey immediately afterwards and I can't wait until the next session (next week).

My osteo is such a lovely, serene person that I trust her implicitly and she has referred me to a good acupuncturist locally. She understands that I am now getting impatient and want to blitz my depression with as many things as possible.

Could really do with a sleep now but must attend to children!

Oh good ghengis , thats great news , being a fighter helps !!!

Did you have a look at the place were we started a thread on emotions sunday 9:18. I have been asked to request your company there , promising that it will not be spooky , but more philosophical. Understand if you dont want to, but its is helping my therapy enourmously.

I was told by an aura healer that there is amuscle in the back of the neck that when pregnant, it gets locked, tightened and compacted She believes it can affect your mind body spirit terribly. Im not sure about it, but I do get all locked up there when having panic attacks. What do you think considering you feel more relaxed after a session??

melsy · 11/05/2004 17:00

The therapist mentioned does cranial sacral therapy for depression.

ghengis · 11/05/2004 17:17

I can't find the thread Melsy. Is it the Journey Through Emotion one?
