Does anyone get a silly crampy thing under your ribs? Like something got stuck?

Everytime I get this people look at me like I'm mad

A stitch, you mean?

I don't think so - I get a stitch at the side if I runor walk fast

This is in the centre and happens if I stretch or move awkwardly

I get this. Hurts when you breath and you have to breath really shallow.

Feels like your plural membrane has got pinched between your ribs? Yup.

too busy thinking about pain to breath maybe - it feels like you got a bit of inside trapped between your ribs and something else

Yes! It's intercostal neuralgia or something. Me, my bother and my mum all get it,

Ahh, so that's what it is! I thought maybe a bit of my stomach hsd got hooked on my ribs during pregnancy (I have only a hazy understanding of human anatomy).

What are body niggles? I almost certainly have them, hypochondriac alert

Yes I first noticed it in pregnancy I think - but DD is 17!

i get rib cramp about once a week, normally in the bath

I get something that sounds a bit like this, usually if I bend to far to the right (it is on the right hand side).

The skin almost feels numb as the feeling is between the ribs.

I get this too... it hurts to breathe but if you're brave and do a massive long breath in then it goes, like stretching out any cramps.

I get this, lots. When I was a child my Mum asked the doctor about it and he said it was a trapped muscle.

Yes! Bloody horrible! Feels like you need to reach inside and unhook something.

Yes! I thought this was just me and I was totally nuts or dying of something nasty. I've had it pop up unexpectedly for years and it is exactly like my lung is stuck to my ribs as it hurts to breathe in or out.
