which would it be? I mean for general all round health. Please exclude a multi vitamin. Would it be Vit D3 or omega or vit C or what else? Mind, you're only allowed one!

Think I'd plump for vit D3 simply because it's the one I can be certain I'm deficient in. Seems most of us in the northern hemisphere have vit d deficiency.

Difficult choice.

I think it would have to be B-1, as without it I can suffer terrible anxiety as well as nightmares and sleep paralysis. That's the one that most directly affects my overall quality of life.

Matilda here are some of the benefits of magnesium. Its also good at reducing heavy, painful periods.

Has nobody told you vitamin supplements are harmful to your health?? Study after study into the 'benefits' show none and further, some of the more recent ones show they cause an increased risk of heart disease and cancer.
Having said that, I'm religious in taking zinc, and haven't had a cold in 10 years, despite living with those germ-carrying small children.

I say B12 as I've massively reduced the amount of animal products I eat.

If it weren't for that it'd be flaxseed oil in the hope of helping my joints.

Has to be iron. I don't have a choice as I'm chronically anaemic...or would be without my maintenance dose of 200mg ferrous fumarate each day. If I don't take it regularly I soon become symptomatic and have to take 600mg for a while get me back to normal ranges again.

Krill oil for my joints. Stopped taking it for a couple of weeks recently when it ran out and I'm sure it wasn't a coincidence that my arthritic hip started giving me gyp again.

I used to use magnesium oil on my achey neck, but it itches and burns the skin, so I stopped.

I have had IV magnesium lots - bluuugh is horrid makes you feel very ill.

I take vit B because of mood stuff

long term Vit B12 - I am not able to absorb this naturally/efficiently so this probably

I have been taking both for 2 months - I am soooo much better, never again will I underestimate the importance of good diet.

Shotgun, I had read that if the magnesium oil burns its because its needed. The more you use it the less it burns or itches. I use it on my calf muscle that cramps up and found it stops after a few days.
