Anyone else got this headache virus?

That's it really. On and off headache for 5 days now, no other real symptoms apart from feeling tired. Paracetamol doesn't work but the triptans I take for migraine do for a little while.. Ugh, just wondering how much longer I've got to wait it out.

Thank god I'm not the only one! I've been feeling wretched all day and this started on Monday but has got worse today. Starting to panic as I feel like I can't cope with it. Terrible headache, feeling really out of it and very teary. At least I now know it's a virus and will pass and not something serious. Thank you.

I have it. I'm feeling really dizzy, blocked sinuses, sore throat, earache and headaches. It's really grim. I'm shattered too which I could do without being at the moment.

Headache back today and now I've got sore throat with skanky white lumps on it. Really can't be arsed to go to the drs, but think I will have to give in. Couldn't even face alcohol last night. This is crap.

I had this a couple of weeks ago. Felt like a mild cold, but I kept getting a really awful headache and sleeping a lot. after 4 or 5 days of random headaches, I woke up with a horrid headache that would not shift and spent the whole day in bed sleeping it off and dosing myself up on pain killers. The next day my cold properly kicked in (though was never to bad) and the headaches haven't been back.

Very random and I was exceedingly lucky DH was about a lot that week as when my head hurt I wasn't able to look after my children.

I took some migraine medication last night in a desperate attempt to get some sleep which worked, either that or I was so shattered I couldn't not sleep. Woke up an hour ago with a headache and my head feels like I've got a head cold! We've got my cousins wedding on Saturday and we've all been so looking forward to it
hope everyone else managed to get some sleep and are feeling better today.

Anyone else have very shallow breathing with this at night? My dh said my breathing sounded funny but I am assuming it's because I slept with my mouth open but I did feel it catch a few times and wasn't quite right

another one here, I started on monday, had a temp feel really wooly and exhausted, short of breath and been sick a couple of times. Thought I was feeling better this morning but just walked dd's to school and feel awful again. Trying to decide if I can go back to work tommorow or not.

Oh no Mellow! :( Go to the GP and get some antibiotics. I had my first night's sleep last night not interrupted by an awful headache. I am thanking the antibiotics. I think if it goes on so long it's def worth seeing the GP to be honest.

I can't believe I'm still boring on about this but it's been 6 wks now. Still getting headaches, have been round the house with a brain scan which showed blocked sinuses, seen an ENT who says that can't be causing all my symptoms - headaches, exhaustion, nausea - and just prescribed steroid nasal drops that don't appear to be helping. Can all this crap be my sinuses or just a very long lingering virus?

Yes me!!!!!! Been wooly headed, sinus feeling sore, temperature and weary for 3 weeks now. Went to drs, and she gave me some antibiotics just in case I get worse!! Can't seem to get rid of this wired feeling. My sister has had it too, she ended up with really bad chest infection, and her other half. It's pants. Hope we all feel better real soon. Going on holiday soon and dreading feeling I'll there. I think that's why dr gave me the antibiotics to carry with me if I feel worse. Maybe I will just start them now !! X

SydneyB or Granny53 did you ever find out what it was? - I have the exact thing - headaches for weeks - only thing it could be is Sinusitis or some wierd Virus but I don't want to take anti-biotics for Sinus just on off chance?

Labyrinthitis gave me all those same symptoms. I still get this from time to time but the first bout of it lasted for months

Hello from the USA....was curious if anyone has figured out the headache cure. I have been sick with a headache 24/7 since Sept 2018. Had an MRI, which revealed a meningioma. But still doesn't account for the headaches. Desperately need help! No medicine helps and its getting worse.
