WTF!

PrettyCandles · 10/07/2006 21:28

Sorry TC, every time a Mooncup thread comes up I wonder whether other women can do this, as I've read/heard about this several times in the past, but have never managed with mine.

southeastastra · 10/07/2006 21:31

alexsmum · 10/07/2006 21:31

i do so every time i scratch my knee!

liath · 10/07/2006 21:31

Nope.

Haven't tried since giving birth though, might be easier now.

FrayedKnot · 10/07/2006 21:31

No, and I can't touch the tip of my nose with my tongue, either!

charliecat · 10/07/2006 21:31

yep.

PrettyCandles · 10/07/2006 21:32

Your finger wouldn't go any further!

I've been told that it should feel a bit like touching the end of your nose, only firmer.

How would you know if you were touching it?????
I've never tried babes tbh

Thomcat · 10/07/2006 21:33

ewwwwww you answered my question.
I'd let it go mate!!

PinkTulips · 10/07/2006 21:35

normally i can but since being about 5 months pregnant it seems to have moved further back.

hunkermunker · 10/07/2006 21:36

Not with my tongue or my elbow, no.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/07/2006 21:37

What if you only have short arms/fingers?

Would you be missing out on something?

hulababy · 10/07/2006 21:38

Yes, I can. Not that I need to often TBH though! Mine is under scrutinty at the moment though, so I am more aware of it!

southeastastra · 10/07/2006 21:40

well i wounldn't have thought you could get your arm up there!!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 10/07/2006 21:40

Well, i wouldnt find mine even if i tried. Apparently its moved since having children. Bastard never told me

Can only think right now....poor TWOHOLES......

mykidsmum · 10/07/2006 21:40

Can't you check your own cervix for dilation in labour?

southeastastra · 10/07/2006 21:41

don't midwives see how many fingers they can get in to guess how far you've dialated? (this sounds so yucky)

mykidsmum · 10/07/2006 21:42

yeah and so you can do it yourself

PrettyCandles · 10/07/2006 21:49

So what does it feel like?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 10/07/2006 21:50

like a boiled egg with a hole in it

MrsSpoon · 10/07/2006 21:51

Not as far as I am aware (never had the urge to try and doubt I ever will) but ... I can touch my toes!

serenity · 10/07/2006 21:54

yes, more so at certain times of the month than others. I have a very low cervix or so I've been told.
