Hello all,
I'm back from my haircut. She cut it a lot shorter than we had agreed, but it'll grow back. I think I will like it when I've got used to it, and it's more exciting than the trim I had planned!
malt I do feel a little bad for even mentioning haircuts here :( hopefully your hair will start growing back as soon as you're finished -not long to go now :) it seems like only yesterday you were buying your thermometer and preparing for cycle one! I'm sure it doesn't feel so quick for you at times though. I found the days seemed to go so slowly but then suddenly six months had flown by.
foofoo people are kind aren't they! Various people had Mass said for me in their churches and sent me a special Mass card thing, when I had my surgery.
I like the idea of being prayed for but I also hate the idea that any God could ever have a system that means that people's fate basically depends on how many (religious) people they know. I'm from a big Catholic family so I think I'm getting more than my fair share. My grandmother has her whole Bible group on the job!
I did have an email after my CT results yesterday from another relative saying something along the lines of "may God continue to heal you" which made me a bit
if I'd known He was going to do that, I needn't have bothered with the chemo
I'm rambling a bit sorry...
gigs thinking of you lots.
knitting good to have a date and a plan. I'm sure they've explained it all but first session takes longer as they do the infusion slowly in case of a reaction. I'd recommend taking a book, magazines or, my fave, a puzzle book, to keep you amused. Might be worth taking several to choose from as I found it really hard to settle on anything. Also some tempting snacks. Unfortunately you probably won't be able to knit because of the cannula, I tried but it kept stopping the flow so it was confiscated :( also very good news about DD :)
kitkat glad you've had lots of sleep, I'm sure that will help your body cope with it all :) also good you can get extra drugs if needed!
betsy wooohooo!

hopefully you'll soon be feeling much better.
MAS you sound exhausted! No wonder with everything going on. I hope your mum is recovering well. And lovely you've got so many people who care :) just googled Snowcake soap and it sounds very Christmassy!
Waving to everyone x
