The wind must be blowing in the right direction as T'internet is working in parent's village.
My, the bus shelter was lively last night
malt yes, having young children certainly helps keep you from being consumed by the concerns of Cancerland
Give yourself time to cope with all that is being thrown at you, it took until the second chemo to be able to feel hopeful, although rationally I knew I had a good chance of surviving, it took a little longer for my feelings to catch up, and my first chemo was a setback, in terms of an unusually bad infection, not common and avoidable. I think I could probably have got there quicker but there did come a day when I was out walking and suddenly realised that it was life that lay in front of me.
kitkat you'll get through it, it isn't pleasant but they do make it bearable. As well as meds they can also change the dose. It is a rather crude method of calculating the dose, so they calibrate it according to how your body copes, it is quite normal to reduce the dose and /or delay treatment, to make sure the side effects are more humane. On one hand bad side effects mean you know the Cancer cells had a good blast too, on the other hand finding the right dose for you isn't going to make any difference to it working. My dose was reduced and my treatments delayed all the way through.

I hope the horribleness is being resolved in some way. Much love and hugs and if anything I can do PM me. I'm having ten days off as he is on other side of planet. Enjoying the me time.
gigs hope they are keeping on top of the pain and it is easing. How long are the rads? Again anything I can do let me know. Limousine service? very familar with route to that uni hospital via west fields
I loved Leeds Uni and had amazing taster lecture with amazing inspirational lecturer, so that's me off to Leeds, Dd will have to find somewhere else if she doesn't want me around. Very strange family came in for the taster lecture though, it is a bit strange that multiple parents go to Open Days anyway, I was only there as chauffeur and extra set of eyes and ears, but this was a whole family, grandparents, parents and younger 6 ish brother. 6 year old had a coughing fit half way through and grandad took him out, stood at the door and turned and mouthed "it's bollocks, out" and they all followed!
