In the last few months my hair has been greasier, I've got more spots now than I had as a teenager and my period has arrived early twice........

jampots · 11/04/2006 15:59

this happened to me a last month - without the greasy hair though. 3 weeks between flows - too much to bear

iota · 11/04/2006 15:59

it's your hormones dear

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 15:59

Well it's hormones, innit ?

suzywong · 11/04/2006 15:59

they will beam you up to join your people at the next full moon

LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 16:00

OP posts:
LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 16:01

yes yes yes...I know its hormones but why is it happening??

OP posts:
marthamoo · 11/04/2006 16:03

Er....pass. They're surging or something. For reasons unknown. Suzy's probably right and it's aliens.

marthamoo · 11/04/2006 16:03

When I had your symptoms I was pregnant. Is that helpful?

LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 16:06

No, not PG martha so it must be the aliens.....

(glad you're back as Marthamoo...couldn't get my head around all those fancy names)

LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 16:07

Was going to suggest same as Fuzzy - friend had Menopause at 35.

LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 17:12

Hmmmmm...as far as I'm aware no other female in either side of my parents families has had an early menopause.
I thought it was hereitory(sp??)

Ermmmm my libido seems to have gone haywire too. ie, zero to skyhigh.
Is that another sympton?

God, I really really hope it not that. I'd be devastated.

LTH, what kind of contraception do you use?, it it anything hormone based? i've got a mirena coil and so far, the only noticeable side effect is really greasy hair so i can sympathise on that front

madmarchhare · 11/04/2006 17:15

You need \link{http://www.maca.co.uk/shopping/best.php\this} then.

fuzzywuzzy · 11/04/2006 17:25

LTH I am so sorry...I'm not a doctor obviously, go to your GP and see what he/she has to say..... Please stop fainting...

LadyTophamHatt · 11/04/2006 17:42

lucykate, I'm not on any pills or potions contraceptives wise.

Think I will go to the doc, I went a few weeks ago because my PMT had got so bad it was was ridiculous, I was full of rage for 3weeks every month until my period arrived. I've just had my period but strangley it seems to have gone completely even on the run up to it which is just not normal in my cycle.

I'll ask about all this fainting too FuzzyWink

aer you suuuuuuuuuuuure you are not pg

random hormonal surge I suspect

cut out sugar and caffeine, take b6 and starflowre oil for three months

Rhubarb · 11/04/2006 18:17

Hot flushes?

BudaBabe · 11/04/2006 18:18

Good idea to try doc - some blood tests might be in order.

If nothing shows up try acupuncture - good at re-balancing. I tried it for PMT and it was great.
