strange wobbly arms and legs...

Anyone know what this could be?

My legs started first and now my arms have joined in. Feel sort of feeble and shaky. Could it be some horrid virus? It feels a bit like the leaden limbs of glandular fever but with more shakiness and it is a big effort to walk upstairs or lift things.

We have had this the last few days - I have had glandular fever before and was honestly on the verge of going to the GP and demanding a test (couldn't get out of bed in the morning and was feeling very irritable once I was up).

I have started feeling better today for the first time in ages.

Enid · 19/03/2006 19:50

wow

would never have considered virus

just thought I was mardy cow with severe pg anemia

must admit the tiredness never got as bad as GF, I think I was just terrified it was heading the same way

I also got weird sort of chills down my spine and goosebumps with the tired limbs. I got some Floradix and took a full dose every day and I started to get better after a few days (and went to bed ridiculously early!).

Yes, I have had this last week, and it was awful.

Started off thinking I was getting a cold, kept going v hot and shivery. Then was fine next morning, but sooo tired, then in the afternoon all weird again.
By third day I was just exhausetd. And cold to the bone.
Day four I had a bad stomach, even though I'd barely eaten for 3 days.
Day 5, I felt much bettrt, but shaky from no food nd bug.
Today I feel fine.

It os crappy.

Enid · 19/03/2006 20:13

CountessDracula · 19/03/2006 20:58

blimey it is endemic

Funny how once you have had gf any sign of excessive tiredness induces panic!

Am feeling a bit better managed to throw a fish pie together and am going to snuggle down to poirot

Well all day yesterday I was super croaky, went to bed at 7.00 slept until 7.00, My neighbour did the school run whilst I sat with one of her poorly LO's. She got back at 9.45 and I got straight back into bed, have only just got up now 2.30 to do the school run.

Thing is I have woken up and it has gone to my chest. Here we go again.Sad

I can't even take a decongestant, because I have a heart condition.

What a PITA

hunkermunker · 20/03/2006 14:37
