Dh having numerous falls

Dh wont go to the doctors. He has had numerous falls over the last 4 months, both off his bikes and also just walking on the flat and down stairs. In the last month he has come off his bike twice, and fallen down stairs once, and on the flat 3 times that I know of. He is in his mid 30s.

Right now he has horrible bruising on his ribs and his hand/wrist. Im really worried about him, and he won't go to the doctors. He said he is just tired from working (long hours but not physical work).

What could be causing all these falls and should I be pushing him to go to the GP?

How would he feel if you name-changed for (even more) anonymity just for this subject? If you can't get RL support, the internet sprites may be more even more important.

I'm so sorry if support is needed. Very, very good luck.

Ill be alright. DD is on the mend with the loose tooth, and her eyes have been getting progressively better. So I can relax a bit on that score. Ds is easy as usual, so nothing to worry about there. Ive got nice things for them to do this week, and will take them both for lessons at the local riding stables, which will cheer all of us up.

Dh is a grown up, Im concentrating on not getting pissed off at him, and Ill do what I can for him. I think Im going to ask him to have a few sessions with marriage guidance again, just so this doesnt turn into a slanging match/huge problem.

Its just one of those horrible weeks that will pass, and as long as we are all together, I can manage. Im going to go and have a proper chat with a RL friend tomorrow.

Oh no Cat. At least he has been seeing someone. I hope you're all ok.

OrangeKipper · 24/09/2012 13:19

Ooh, riding! Enjoy!

Glad you have someone in RL.

Oh cat, what a horrible situation for you. I hope you are ok

cocolepew · 24/09/2012 13:33

I'm glad he is seeing the Dr, I'm sorry he is keeping it to himself.

bonnieslilsister · 24/09/2012 13:33

he decided not to worry me right Confused

FGS bonnieslilsister -read the thread and don't give the OP a hard time.

The last thing someone wants when they're going through a tough time and post on here for help, advice and support is an unhelpful comment like that.

bonnieslilsister · 24/09/2012 14:00

but I did say I was confused. I wasn't trying to give her a hard time but he has made her very worried and all of us on here have been worried for the family, too.

Sorry op if it seemed I was giving you a hard time Thanks
