Celebs who need to eat more

It bugs me something awful . Thin to the point of beginning to look ill .

Lucy from eastenders is top of the list ...give the girl a pie or something .

Nikki graham ...give her a couple of pies

Fangolina Jolie ...give her a couple of pies , a large side of fries and a huge chocolate cake .

Victoria beckham .... Just deep fry something and make her eat FFs !

Duchess Katie ....how on earth does she expect to pop out a sprog or too , being that thin her ovaries are bound to have stopped working ? Give the girl a sandwich .

Kate Middleton needs some of those roast pork sandwiches everyone's scoffing at the olympic park. She has been at every event of note so far, so you would think she'd have had several.

LurkeyLurkerson · 06/08/2012 20:37

Some women are just naturally slender though. A good friend is a size 6 despite eating well.

Plus it's a bit mean to be honest. I'm on the fat side and I'd be upset if someone went around saying I was a porker and needed to put down the pies. This is no different.

frootshoots · 06/08/2012 20:39
Hmm

Shall I go ahead and start a 'celebs who need to eat less' thread?

No idea why so many people feel the need to comment on the weight of others, fat or skinny. Awful to suggest someone is so skinny their 'ovaries are bound to have stopped working'!

LissiesAWenlockLass · 06/08/2012 20:40

Oooh, let's do a "celebs who need to eat less" thread.

After all, its not mean and horrible to mock people for their size. Give 'em a few salads, it'd do them a world of good Hmm

out2lunch · 06/08/2012 20:41

nikki graham is a well known sufferer of severe anorexia - bit insensitive suggesting a few pies will help

MrsMcNulty · 06/08/2012 20:42

I agree with LurkeyLurkerson and frootshoots, can we just stop with the judging of other womens' bodies please.

BupcakesandCunting · 06/08/2012 20:44

Nikki Graham battles anorexia. She has almost died from it.

Good one.

droves · 06/08/2012 20:44

Why is it awful ?

Its awful that so many people get eating disorders and hold such thin people in high esteem. They are setting a bad example .

Naturally thin people don't have old photos which show them at a healthy weight.

OP posts:
LissiesAWenlockLass · 06/08/2012 20:49

People don't get eating disorders because they see a picture in a magazine. They develop eating disorders because they have mh issues and need to control something. I'm appalled that people think that overweight is the norm. And I think this is a vile thread.

frootshoots · 06/08/2012 20:49

People get eating disorders because they are constantly fucking criticised for the way they look, and 95% of those criticisms come from other women - like you.

Thin or fat, it's none of your bloody business what weight somebody is. It is just as rude to call somebody too thin as it is to call somebody too fat. And suggesting that thin people go and eat some pies and deep fried food is hardly setting them on the path to being a 'healthy weight' in your eyes is it?

I can only assume you are perfection personified?

Lauzifer · 06/08/2012 20:51

Very well said Frootshoots

droves · 06/08/2012 20:54

It's a known fact that body weight is linked to a woman's fertility .

It's a warped world that thinks jutting bones are more attractive than a fit muscular body .

It is unhealthy to be so thin .

OP posts:
LissiesAWenlockLass · 06/08/2012 20:59

Actually, you need to be severely underweight for your periods to stop, and they restart once you are heavier. Its not a permanent state.

Jutting bones may nmot be attractive, but neither is bitchiness

droves · 06/08/2012 20:59

Have you seen any pro-Anna sites ?

Now tell me that people with eating disorders dont feed off the " thin ideal" or super thin celebs .

The images in themselves don't cause eating disorders like anorexia or bulimia , but they don't help. How can they when thin is idolised in the media so much ?

OP posts:
angryfurball · 06/08/2012 20:59

You don't know why any of those people are so thin, as has already been pointed out Nikki Graham has had an eating disorder since childhood! Its out of order to have a go at someone for their size, just because you find it unattractive Hmm I suppose you're the perfect role model then?

frootshoots · 06/08/2012 21:02

And it is unhealthy to be so fat. Fertility issues are also caused by being overweight. Why no fatty bashing thread?

I don't think jutting bones are any more attractive than rolls of fat are, but I wouldn't dare to comment on somebody else's bones or fat because it's not my place, or yours, to do so.

Why are you so worked up about thin people in particular?

droves · 06/08/2012 21:03

No I'm not perfect , but I do have a child who refuses to eat because he wants to be thin like the people I have mentioned .

OP posts:
LissiesAWenlockLass · 06/08/2012 21:03

Yes I have. Because I am anorexic. I'm the reason that I am thin, not kate, or nikki or vb.

You know nothing about it, so I suggest you stop projecting.

LissiesAWenlockLass · 06/08/2012 21:05

Xpost, sorry about your ds. Contact beat. See a doctor. Get help (there's plenty out there,m you should get a referral to an EDT) but don't blames celebs, and don't attack.

yellowraincoat · 06/08/2012 21:12

Agree with others, it is horrible to start on people because of their size. I am a size 6, if someone suggested I was a bad role model because of my size, I would be gutted.

I eat plenty, I don't diet at all, I exercise a normal amount. I am just thin.

OP, I am sorry about your son, but if you suspect he has an ED, you should get him to a doctor, not start a mean thread about women who you know nothing about.

And why is it always women? I don't see anyone saying Wiggo should down a few pies.

HmmThinkingAboutIt · 06/08/2012 21:15

Horrid thread.

People on here should be ashamed.

We get enough threads about how wrong it is to judge women for being "too fat" and that being overweight can be a mental health issue.

And yet its totally fine to make a thread like this?

Disgusting.
