my perfect littlr girl is in hospital with meningitis

And I'm really really scared.

Is anyone up to hold my hand and tell me it'll be ok?

Hope all is going well. My friend had meningitis. She lost the hearing in one ear and temporarily all sense of balance but is now a musician and doing great. Only impact of her hearing loss is taking ABs whenever shes ill to prevent losing other ear. Aged 30 now and other ear is 100%

Poor you. Ds was in hospital for six weeks as a baby so I understand a bit of the hellishness. The worst bits are the nights when your partner and visitors can't be there. I found talking to other parents on the ward got me through a bit. The care in picu/ hdu is generally excellent, if she does go there for a bit. Xx
