Have about 7lb's to lose before my BiG APPLE trip which is ooooh only a few days to go.

Have had quite a good day food wise, apart from the choc hob nob and glass of wine. No gym today as I am doing extra hours at work invigilating.

evening all!

well i had an m and s super food salad for lunch with some quorn and cottage cheese and have had some cherries this evening. my sore throat is not a full on cold.

I can well believe the mark up on make up bella. I have a little job btw - just 8 hours a week in cath kidston...and I get a 25% discount!! Wish it was 65%

Me today:

Breakfast: Porridge with raisins, cinnamon & splenda, and iced coffee
Snack: Pear and Gaviscon
Lunch: Beans on Toast with a bit of cheddar
Snack: 4 slices of ham
Dinner: Tuna/Salmon pasta bake with tinned tomato, several glasses of milk

I'm trying to remember if I ate anything else today. Perhaps not. Couldn't eat much of dinner, it was kind of foul. That might be why I'm hungry. But I'm being dissuaded from eating by the ever-present spectre of heartburn. Wondering how long I could live on just milk alone?

Yank, have you tried whizzing up milk, banana and ice cubes? Delish

Fish pasta bake should have creamy sauce, not tomato. IMVHO anyway

My mother got given a bottle of beetroot juice stuff. It actually had a warning on the label that drinking it would cause pink wee but not to panic as this is normal

I suspect I shall be getting a lot of extra exercise soo. I live in an arse end of nowhere. 3 miles to nearest regular bus route, 1 mile to train station. My car is dying. I can't replace it atm. So everytime i need the bank it is going to be a 3 mile walk to hope onto a bus into the town I hate. It's like being back at college again

We are but have a party to go to at 2.30pm till early evening and the parentals are here, but you are more than welcome if it fits around. When are you heading back if that fits better?

I managed 35mins and I looked like this and thought I was dying. My calfs are killing me and DS woke up wondering what all the banging was.

Am now having a cup of tea and an Alpen bar as I'm starved.

DH laughed at my 30mins of thudding and is now eating a Magnum!

Ooh Sazz I think I do have some Piriton in the box, I shall dig it out for tomorrow when she gets up.

Sazz, it was actually a creamy tomato sauce with tinned tomato and a tin of cream of mushroom soup. Have made it before with better results, am off my game tonight. DH, who normally likes everything I cook, tasted it and said 'it's not your best effort, love' which is the kindest way of saying 'blech'. DS ate a huge plateful though (after telling me it was 'gusses-horrbull', par for the course these days).

I've left it sitting out on the side so later I can claim I forgot, throw it away, and avoid having it for leftovers tomorrow.

Bitchy, that is shit about the car, sorry to hear it.
