Charlie-ds is 18months dd6yrs and yes my dp has always been a twat and NO I DIDNT HAVE A FAG!!!!!!!!

Right ladies, i'm going to need all the help you can give me! I have tried and failed to give up once this year and I am now pregnant, so I need to give up now. It wont be as easy as just stopping and scare stories wont work. So please help me.

lucy5-I stopped with my last pregnancy in February 2004,the only way i managed to get through each day(but then as time passed it did become alot easier) was by telling myself I had NO CHOICE! Rather than TRYING to stop or thinking shall i or shall not have a cigarette today there was no choice.I could not have a fag full stop.

It was sooooooooo hard,but it did work,and the cravings did go Eventually

Thankyou. I have given myself until Monday to stop. Thinking along the same lines as you. I am going to try not to smoke before then and Monday I am stopping.

Funny thing is though, I bought his The Only Way to Give Up Smoking Permanantly book, without realising it was the follow up the The Easy Way. Make a fresh start. Buy the Only Way.... (I would send you mine but I have lent it out already!)

ITS 3 MONTHS TODAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sooooo proud of myself, I have had slight temptations but not given in and don't really miss it at all.

Now just to move house and then I shall be cracking on with the diet Grin Grin Grin

Day 17, feel that i have got through the worse but went out last night(pigs were flying)to see live band.
Like Charlie,I had that feeling I should be smoking but REALLY didnt want to so i didnt.

stopped smoking a year ago as soon as I found out I was preg.
then couple of times the last moth i have had a few when out with friends.
also have the occasional one (maybe twice a week) outside front door with DP when Ds is in bed.

Very annoyed with myself as I hate smoking

It's roll ups which i try to convince myself isn't as bad
but desperately wnt to stop before it becomes more of a habit!

hit a bit of a plateau today,its happened before and i have had a fag in the past.
Canadian Mum mentioned 3days/3 weeks/3months aims-I am feeling VERY Cold Turkey-dont WANT a fag but know that if dp was here i would want to nick a roll up
