He went for appt with dermatologist tonight and has a mole on his face that is cancerous. We are both in shock. I haven't the first idea what happens now. He has to have an operation asap.

GB, ust checking in to hear how things went. Glad it was a qick procedure. Everything crossed for the results. Hope you can have peaceful Christmas.

DH has had the all clear from the hospital - no cancer cells at all in his mole. However, they are still keeping an eye on others he has.

Oh Gingerbear how wonderful! I'm so pleased, I've been wondering, but that's the best possible news

I'm only just catching up with this thread now. How nice to have a ready made happy ending. You must be so relieved Ginge. What a worrying time for you both.
Now you need to treat yourselves to a night out to discharge the stress.

Fantastic news, GB. I'm so pleased for you, WHAT a relief!

suedonim · 10/01/2006 00:49

What a relief! Did you have to wait all this time for the result?

Gingerbear · 10/01/2006 13:20

The hospital said that they would send a letter out 'after Christmas'. We never received anything and so DH rang them on Friday morning and they rang back Friday afternoon.

Cadbury · 10/01/2006 13:23

Oh thank goodness for that! I've been looking out for you for the last week or two. Horrible to have this hanging over you all Christmas and New Year but I'm glad things have turned out well.

Big hugs and sighs of relief from the cadburies.
