Your right-I couldn't rant yesterday as would have lost my job but OMG-was I pathetic!

How are you Lucylou? Any nearer to stopping yet?

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:06

No, im having a bit of a low patch being checked for thyroid probs on wednesday. Couldnt believe it when I saw your name on there! Are we cyber twins?

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:08

Its awful when someone can reduce you to a gibbering wreck. I went to drs on friday, never met the man before. He said how are you and i just bawled for 5 mins, must have thought i was a nutter!

Dropinthe · 31/10/2005 11:09

Almost! My thyroid is back to normal now although you wouldn't believe it when I am shouting at the boys for, well just being boys!!
Lucky they know how much their mummy loves them,eh?

Get some Thyroxine down your neck girl and see life improve-slowly,but it well get there!

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:11

im hoping it is thyroid probs as it would explain a lot. Its that or im a manic depressive haahahaha!

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:11

So are you able to easily move offices away from billy no life?

Dropinthe · 31/10/2005 11:16

No,will just go back to being a lowly cashier, getting paid the same money but with minimal fuss and minimal effort! Suits me!

Yes,for a while I thought I was going through another depressive episode-in fact, I think the last one I had just after my marriage was more to do with the thyroid then what I originally thought it was due to being bereavement!
Thyroid problems are slimy!

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:18

As long as you are happy! Do you work in Woolwich? Im hoping mines thyroid as Ive been blaming alot on pmt and my very understanding dh said the other night "but you've always got pmt!"

Dropinthe · 31/10/2005 11:26

Won't name where I work in case of lurkers but work near.
My boys are driving me nuts today-I could commit Hare Kare!

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 11:30

ooh, i love a bit of cloak and dagger. Do they go to nursery or school? my dd is on half term and we are still in pjs. Well i am, shes gone to see my sister 2 doors up wearing her witches dress and no knickers

Dropinthe · 31/10/2005 11:36

I'm am too still in my Pjs and look a sweaty mess as am trying intermittently to clean the house whilst posting on here! Am going to get my arse in gear soon though and have a shower.
My oldest goes to a private nursery for two full days a week-Wed and Fri and will start school next September when we will then be able to afford for the youngest to probably go to the same nursery as the eldest. He has been going there since just before age 2 and he really loves it there-has crippled us financially in the past but when he turned 3 the fees halved so was alot easier.
Love the days when he is there as get lots done!

Dropinthe · 31/10/2005 11:37

BTW-Do the clocks go backwards and forwards in Spain too?

spookylucy · 31/10/2005 13:21

Sorry dd came back! How inconsiderate! Yes the clocks change like uk. Its made today feel really slow!

charliecat · 31/10/2005 16:20

Do it when the wee ones alsleep and you can really concentrate on what it is about smoking your getting the kick/pleasure/crutch from.
Told the girls at work about my 10,000 mark.
One of them is a smoker, she was very sceptical...because she smoked as much as me...and if I have not smoked 10,000 it means she has...she was very [shocked]

mummylonglegs · 01/11/2005 10:51

Morning all. Well, I missed one of our late night chats last night then cc. I did notice though that you said 'aye' and 'wee one' ... do you have a bit of Scottish in your cat's paws?

Hello rickman. We're hardened AC readers / quitters / failed quitters / re-quitters here. So you'll be in good hands. I know your cc's mate and she knows all about you but how about a small profile so we know who we're helping? How long you smoked? How many? How old are your kid/s? etc. etc. etc.
