Still fag free, but been wobbly last couple of days. have been out tonight - fine, but gagging for fag when I was all dressed up and ready, g and t in hand - being really impatient with DH - anyone proud another day has gone by without a fag. Well done you lot who've managed it for longer, and good luck to those of you who are about to start.

Now its ok to wobble and its ok to be ratty, its ok to cry bitterly at the loss of your frind the fag. Whats not ok is to smoke it...

That's great, charlie. I'm hesitant to say this because I've failed this far in before but I know what you mean a bit. There really are swathes of time where I don't think about fags at all and when that happens in previously unthinkable situations I am v pleased. Have to keep on being vigilant but so far haven't had that dangerous "I've been so good that I could have just one fag." feeling. So far so hurrah!

Yes- that's been the key to me failing many times. I seriously thought it was possible to be a part time smoker for ages! Was def fooling myself, sadly.

Yep me too I thought I could smoke joints occasionally too, until I found myslef walking to school with the kids slightly stoned

sorry haven't been on here all week, we've had half term & been away at mum's & out with kids...

nearly a year cc - that's amazing - am still lozzied up (sucking nicotine lozenges for the newcomers on here...) but dh is now 5 weeks fagless, cold turkey too! And it's bloody great to have a non stinky house. Well, it still stinks, but not of stale vile ciggies...

Tommorow ive a nursery mum coming round, then Tues my best mates mums coming over, wednesday shopping and driving lesson and a mate over for dinner, Thursday Rickmans coming over and Friday is free so far. Think im gonna try keep it that way. I usually slop all holidays this one is bbuussssyyyyyyyyyyyy
