I have now managed to, ahem, stop adding to my current weight, so I'm just going to sit the winter out.

Come the New Year, I'm kicking ass. As I am sure the other LIGHTer ladies will be too.

Afternoon, parents have been and gone. Going to have a cup of tea then finish the laundry.

Did you have a nice time? My parents are over the 19th, we're off out for an early ChristMouse dinner with them.

Nemo has refused to nap so I'm feeding him and then off out. Fun fun fun with the great unwashed!

afternoon. have been out and done errands and had a pint of cider that went down rather well.

now eating crisps under the duvet watching some cheesy movie on 5.

think we're having oven chips based carp meal tonight. have switched to ffs this week as yesterday was too healthy.

Satan - I think that today might turn out to be a FFS here too.

So far - 1 coffee, 1 tea, 1 diet coke, 1 sausage and egg McMuffin, 1 hash brown and a pint of water.

Are you knackered after yesterday?

So far today, 3 teas, a tuna mayo sandwich and a chocolate shortbread thingy.

Not sure about dinner as I found the chicken kievs that we were meant to have in the laundry basket.

Freezer surprise with oven chips probably.

today: pint of cider. packet of pork crunch. 3 or 5 eclair sweets.

and now a whiskey, honey and lemon.

Well, I'm back. It was really nice. Very festive apart from the mechanical pipe organ playing Abba songs!

Oh and trying to park in a disabled bay, DH was reversing into the spot and a woman pulled up in front of him and showed him her blue badge. She was all cross faced and growly.

He propmtly showed her mine. It was like a game of bloody disability top trumps!

Just becuase DH looked younger than 80 and had children in the car, she assumed he was just parking there for the hell of it.

And I know that some fuckers do park in them without a badge. But still! At least give him a chance to display my badge before you go all growly on his ass!!

Anyway, I we had a fab time! We actually all got to go out of the house together as a family.

We had some mulled cider, bought lots of nice treats, lemon dizzle cake, chutney's and jams. All things that we could make but it's always nicer when someone else makes it.

sorry - yesterday was very discombobulated indeed.

just getting the boy ready to go off to be godbothered with his aunty and cousins. will cast a protective spell of rationality over him before he leaves.

not sure if i've got my neice here whilst they go - she's got a 4 page essay to write so might elect to stay here.

eitherway i think a nice hot bath is on the cards for me.

still full of lurgy - 9 days in to latest strain.
