think in my own way i'm a rather good hostess. everyone always seems relaxed and never says oh shall we wash up or panics about clearing things. i reckon that's a good sign. don't like people jumping up and feeling they have to do stuff.

lots to do in the morning but prefer it this way.

slowly working my way through the mountain of washing up in the kitchen. rethinking my 'it's nice that people relax and they shouldn't have to wash/clear up' theory

woke up to a smashed glass bread bowl all over the kitchen floor - thanks cat.

no plans today other than i have to buy gas and milk so we'll have a walk into the village at some point and maybe pop into a pub for coke and crisps.
