My Dad has just rung to say he is dropping of a single bed I asked for.

DD will be in a big girl bed, that means she is not a baby any more.

Nemo is still in a cot. I'm not putting him in a bed until he can walk. How old is DD?

She is two just after christmas. She can climb out of her cot anyway, so she has probably outgrown it.

she was always trying to get on better with my son than me, or compete for the 'one' he listened to or went to sort of thing.

it's a battle she has clearly lost now. we have a good relationship, he loves his mum and i love him and we get on better together than with anyone else and maybe that's resented. she can't come between us.

and he's happy and smart and lovely and that undermines her theories about me.

My Mum can get the same when DD wants to go to my Dad, though obviously not to the same extent.

Oh and it used to drive me MAD when DS was wee when she used to refer to him as 'my baby'. 'How's my baby? There's my little boy'

i want a simple desk and 2 dining chairs from ikea. would they fit in a car blitzen? think the desk top would be the biggest bit to be honest.

new table cloth and runner look nice.
