.............Oh What Fun It Is Too Ride On Satan's Winter Sleigh!!!

Hey, I'm Mouseface. Xmas Smile

I have now managed to, ahem, stop adding to my current weight, so I'm just going to sit the winter out.

Come the New Year, I'm kicking ass. As I am sure the other LIGHTer ladies will be too.

Maybe. Hopefully. If I can convince them too.

Anyway, come meet them all........ and feel free to join in!!

walked in to various comments 'I've never seen you carry the baby before' yeah right, whatever. Then she said 'I've put her in the highchair so make sure you keep an eye on her.' tells me that and then tells dp too. How on earth mole has lived to 11 months without gems of helpful info like that I don't know Hmm

anyway, got to party and dd had meltdowns for various reasons. She regresses when my dad is around. He put her first in the queue for something in front of about 8 other kids, even though she hadn't been queuing Blush My sil was not happy that he was running after my dd not my dn whose bday it was.

anyway....

BrianAndHisBalls · 12/12/2010 17:34

I saidv something about him needing to leave her to deal with things on her own and that she had to stop having these tantrums. He said something about it was a phase and i needed to help her more (or something). I went mad and said something about him never being like that when i was a child, he retorted with 'you have a selective memory' me 'i don't bloody think so' Blush

so my mum came over (my dad stalked off with dd) and starts saying 'oh the way you're going anyone would think he was a tyrant when you were younger' me 'He was!!' Her 'I don't think so!!' Me 'He might be going for grandfather of the year but he was a shit father!' Cue me storming off. Blush

So that was nice. No one else heard thank god.

Theres a lot of history between us all and I'm now panicking re christmas/boxing day and the issue of contact at all. Too involved to go into here.

The less irritating things were...

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 12/12/2010 17:40

hmm. might be time for a cooling off period including NOT seeing them over christmas. send a note along the lines of

'i can no longer put up with you undermining me as a parent, continually putting me down in front of my partner and children, calling me fat, lazy etc. it is totally upsetting and not good for my family. we will not be seeing you over christmas as we want a peaceful family christmas which does not see me in tears over your insults and undermining. it is deeply uncomfortable for dp to watch you insult me also. until you are ready to treat me decently i am no longer willing to see you or have you influencing my children. it's up to you where we go from here"

sorry - big off top of head rant. maybe it's time for a stand.

BrianAndHisBalls · 12/12/2010 17:40

Some people came back who i didn't know. Very nice but they drank at least 9 bottles of wine between the 5 of them Shock and brought their 2 dc so I was trying to get mole to sleep and the dc were screaming and shouting constantly. Didn't get her to sleep till 11pm!

Then my dn had a nightmare and woke her up, then dd had a nightmare and woke her up again.

By 4am I just put her in bed with us as she wouldn't go to sleep.

Same today, trying to get her to sleep this morning, the house is incredibly loud so just had no chance.

Also the people who came back were really rich and kept gong on about if he lost his job then the dc would have to go to a 'normal' school Hmm and they'd have to drive a 'skoda' and might even (the horror!) have to live in a council house Shock I wanted to kill them. They had no idea of our financial circumstances and I just thought it was such crappy richy crappy bollocksy shittyness.

Should probably get off my high horse now Blush

Anyway - family tensions/no fags/no sleep/hundreds of children. Nice.

Sorry for ranting. x

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 12/12/2010 17:42

no apologies required x

laters. cool, calm, dynamic.

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 13/12/2010 10:12

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

I have weighed myself and I am huge. So, stopping with the nibbling and picking and just going to eat when I am hungry.

Bubs - good luck, sorry I missed you but you'll be grand, I'm sure. xx

Well, the builder has sacked his apprentice. He was getting really shiote and clumsy, costing us money (broke various things) so DH sent an e-mail to the builder in charge and he's binned him.

And the builder in charge has actually thanked us, as apparantly, it's not just here that he causes issues with.

He will show the e-mail to the college where the lad is at, so they are aware of the situation.

We had a 'the yoof of today' chat in the kitchen! Xmas Grin

I'm all cold and achy. Damp weather is no good for my hips and pelvis. I want to live somewhere hot please.

OUCH!!

How are we all today??

I hope better than yesterday. Xmas Smile

ok here, just sorted through a cupboard full of paperwork gratefully finding 90% of it is out of date and can be recycled.

couple of piles await my attention - child maintenance claim Confused and mortgage company Confused - not confused, that's my wibbling face.

have you got one of those infrar red (sp) lamps mouse? we used to have one in the house when i was a kid, a lamp that could be heat or uv. my sister had a nasty incident with the uv setting.

BlitzenAndCupidsSleighDodger · 13/12/2010 10:41

A quick hello from a ( very ) cold Lincs. I am lurking but it's difficult to get reception in the middle of nowhere! I have 1 bar of reception so thought I would say hello while I get the chance. Mwah! To you all, will catch up this evening I hope xx

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 13/12/2010 10:54

see you soon bitter. i'm missing you pathetically enough Smile

lets do something later in the week x

TheMousefaceBeforeChristMouse · 13/12/2010 11:28

Satan - the use one of those on me at physio so I get some form of pain relief. I've got a hot water bottle strapped to my back for now.

And I've lit the wood burner. Just to warm this one room at least. Whilst it's a very pretty cottage, it's a very cold and damp place in the winter.

Hey Bitter Xmas Smile mwah back to you. You are missed, I hope you're having a nice time. xx
