TotalChaos · 30/11/2010 16:39

satan - snort at the epic 3 stage takeaway. am definitely tempted now.

mittz - we talking own deep fryer made chips Envy. my late gran made the best home made chips ever, with my dear friend J as second.

I am currently part way through decluttering the top of the wardrobe. lots of out of date sachets of dioralyte/calpol literaly gathering dust... I am truly disgusting, I suspect!

BrianAndHisBalls · 30/11/2010 16:39

just thinking about dd bitter. Yep she wants everyone to play the games she wants them to. She doesn't want to belittle them or hurt them she just wants them to be the ugly stepsisters so she can be the princess Grin

I suppose to those on the receiving end still not nice though but not (god i hope not) the same as bullying. There again shes only 5... she has time Grin

god i love homemade chips

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 30/11/2010 16:42

total - its a weird way of sending paypal, not sure how it works but it takes 7 days to clear. So I can send one of her dolls out tomorrow but the other will have to wait.

BrianAndHisBalls · 30/11/2010 17:05

dubs - am thinking same here as its still snowing Sad I'm not really in a parenting mood, although perhaps dd1 could parent dd2. Result! Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/11/2010 17:05

Right, I need to get ready for work. Catch you later Langers.

Mouseface · 30/11/2010 17:06

Heating people lied. They said they had left a message on my answerphone.

And then the receptionist asked for my number for them to call me back with tomorrow, once she'd spoken to the manager.

So you didn't call me and leave a message then.

Yes, they did, she says. I asked how if they/you don't have a number.

Hmm.

I hate liers. And God help me DD is driving me fucking nuts. I could kick the shit out of something. I really need to get my period.

I think I'm going stir crazy.

Nemo's nurse is coming tomorrow and then hydro/physio Thursday. As long as it's not cancelled.

LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ds is only just starting to stir. long night ahead

Mouseface · 30/11/2010 17:18

Sorry just need a serious moment here please - Nemo has been dozy/not playing and lay on his playmat for the last 24/36 hours.

I am keeping him hydrated, wet and dirty nappies still, and today he has not had a temp.

He is wimpering and coughing. Just not himself.

Do I ride it out? He's pale and not played at all in the last 24/36 hours. His nurse is coming in the morning 11am.

I'm not feeling out of my depth in terms of caring for him, and I guess all they will do in hospital is the same as me?

Should I check with NHS Direct maybe?

OP posts:
SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 30/11/2010 17:20

i guess it's a case of eliminating baddies - eg. meningitus etc jsut to be sure. i'm useless at knowing that stuff i'm afraid.

SantaIsAnAnagramOfSatan · 30/11/2010 17:21

i can never remember if the rash should disappear under a glass or stay Confused hope my last post made sense - i meant are you worried in case it could be something else than usual stuff and want to check?

No, I'm not worried about him. I'm just hoping I've not missed anything IYSWIM. I guess I'm worried about that.

I'm doing everything I would on the ward.

Just checked with NHS Direct - they said a heavy cold with dehydration.

Bloody DH and his germs.

Sorry, as you were Langer xxx

OP posts:
BrianAndHisBalls · 30/11/2010 17:37

think you should call nhs direct or go to a&e (sorry). Lethargic doesn't sound great and although nurse is coming at 11am he could feel worse over night.

Go with your gut feeling, you know him better than any of us, are you worried?

I remember taking dd1 to a&e once she was so pale and limp. we waited for hours and hours and it turned out to be an ear infection. Next time she was like it we were straight in with the anti biotics and no bloody a&e because sitting there for 7 hours with a sick child is no fun.
