He is Sad

I guess if he's awake at night coughing, then he's going to sleep more in the day and not feel like playing.

Will see how we go. We have open access to the hospital ward so can always take him up as long as the roads are clear, if not we'll get a blue lighted cab Smile

He seems better now I've given him more calpol.

May bath him and see how he responds.

Thanks xx

can he sleep propped up a bit at night mouse? might help the cough. you probably already do that though.

TotalChaos · 30/11/2010 17:56

re:nemo - keep a careful eye on him overnight. problem with A & E is the risk of him picking something up in the waiting room! Or is it always me that ends up sitting next to a littlie with some sort of intractable gastro bug Hmm

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 30/11/2010 18:01

Poor nemo. It does sound very much like normal coldy symptoms. So hopefully he'll be back to his normal self today.

Cried on the way home from work again today. H was giving me a lift so he bore the brunt of it!

First day in work since last week, since the night out I wasn't invited to. And what do you know? No one is talking to me :(

No one. Not even the nice people. Other than the managers that is.

At lunch time my manager asked to see the work I'd done on my calc sheet so I showed her. She said it was fine to use it and showed my other manager too.

She then said that x had been going on to y and z about how I was messing with the set up and was going to ruin everything. She'd also told both managers,

Throw in the fact that someone had changed the data in my work and you have a neat case of, "I told you all UNO was messing with things, and look at this! All the data is wrong! Well well well. Isn't UNO useless?"

There's really no doubt now. I've been sabotaged. God knows what was said about me on the night out :(

I just want to reassure you that I'm a really nice person. Honest. Ive never had problems getting on with people before. I don't deserve this.

I'm so sad :(

TotalChaos · 30/11/2010 18:04

sorry it's all turned to shit at work Uno. make all the problems official asap, under grievance/bullying procedure (whatever is most appropriate). and keep everything in writing - if someone says something, either diary it or confirm it by e-mail.

BrianAndHisBalls · 30/11/2010 18:05

uno you nutter, of course you're a nice person! Don't let these bitches mess with your head poppet.

And of course you're sad, its a horrible thing to happen.

Did you tell your managers about the changed data? You should probably talk to them re the atmosphere as well, it sounds like workplace bullying and they should be stamping on it Angry

TotalChaos · 30/11/2010 18:08

tbh it's irrelevant whether you are nice or bitch queen from hell - this treatment is unacceptable in a work place.

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 30/11/2010 18:08

Oh you're so nice :(. That's good but I'm failing to smile about anything so you have to have a sad face instead.

H says I should talk to my managers about it, that it's gone to far an it's bullying. But I don't want to be the new girl who rocks to boat :(. It won't make my life easier. Everyone is very very local (apart from management).

:(

Mouseface · 30/11/2010 18:09

TC - we wouldn't go to A&E, we'd go straight to the ward. Smile

UNO - That's shit re work. We know that you are a nice person, we'd ignore you if you weren't Grin

What does DH think about it all?

OP posts:
YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 30/11/2010 18:10

He's very worried (a good thing) and says I should talk manager

:( :( :( tc doesn't think I'm nice :( :( :(

:o

TotalChaos · 30/11/2010 18:11

uno - to be blunt "they" have already rocked the boat by going to the managers. so there's no point keeping this low profile anymore. you had best get your side of the story in before "they" have another crack at getting you in trouble.

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 30/11/2010 18:12

Tc you're right. I just wish I wasn't so new. I feel very vulnerable.

I do have your youth. I keep it in a bag and poke it with a stick occasionally. It's all sparkly. I might use it on my Christmas tree.

BrianAndHisBalls · 30/11/2010 18:30

its got to be my sex drive surely??

YouKnowStuffingisforLunch · 30/11/2010 18:31

Brian if I had your sex drive I would be using it as my own :o

Mittz · 30/11/2010 18:33

UNO that is appalling Sad. Others are right that you should document as much as you can. Can you talk to CAB or do you have links to a union?
And no, also agree you are not the new girl 'rocking the boat'. I both can and can't believe that adults would behave like that. No wonder you are miserable.
