Ovarian Cyst - f**k!!

I have had an internal scan today (always a joy!) and they have said I have an ovarian cyst.

What they haven't said is what type etc etc. She was quite evasive and said I should talk to my GP.

I am now shitting myself.

I have seen on MN that a fair few people have had these, but can anyone tell me what happens next? How do they figure out what type it is to then know how to treat it?

I'm okay strangely, I've barely had any pain for a few weeks now which is weird because it was doubling up again that made me go back to the docs! I'm not complaining about the no pain though, it's nice to be able to do everyday stuff!

Rahhhhh. No result back yet. FFS!!!!! I had to sit down and stroke one of my cats for stress relief as I made the call!!

They said they will chase it if they haven't got it back by Monday afternoon.
