Had chest infection and somethings shown up on xray. Had antibiotics but stopped after getting bad palpatations. Unsure if being ill or antibiotics caused them

Still getting lots of pain, tight heavy chest plus pain inside chest. Heart monitor on 17th nov and repeat xray on 20th.

Dr said in letter to go back if still unwell, not sure if any point though?

You are right SM. Can I take you to work with me? I am glad I stood my ground with my boss over appointment, she wanted me to go next Friday not today. I have sort of learned that I need to put me first cos no one else will. And her needs and priorites and not mine.

I wasnt scared more I thought it was a fuss about noghting, I felt like a drama queen if I kept going back. Had a good chat with my GP (hes new) and he was really helpful and didnt dismiss me at all.

I felt I was over worried about the symptoms, but when that blood test came back today I felt actually my gut instinct was right. Am not the type to ask for time off work lightly and so when I do I need to be more forceful because its my health not my bosses.

You are right SM even though I am a bit scared off you Wink I do see what you mean. Thanks.

seriously,i think you are v scared (understandably). if you are getting jip of boss, try writing things down as prompt before you see her

keep it brief ,calm and factual.acknowledge her inconvenience but clamy assert your needs too

give her relevant names, extensions number of hosp and photocopy of any appt card etc.she can legitimately ask to see appt card but cannot deny you access to treatment

and stay off google and other quacky sites

if you must internet use this site patient uk it is reliable and factual

finally good luck
