Bitter - is that the Tesco one as part of the meal deal?? Shock Its massive!!

double - was that 'hes not that into you?'? I quite enjoyed that film till the cop out end. No life is complete without a partner after all Hmm

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/08/2010 11:19

Fluff, yes the Tesco one.

At the moment DS is upstairs tidying his room. Not sure about punishment. Was thinking of getting a big chocolatey dessert to replace it, and not let him have any.

I'm not sure, my sister told me that she thinks I am really too harsh on him, have too high expectations, so I've lost my confidence a bit.

did he eat the whole thing? How the hell did he manage that? Shock No experience of that sort of thing sorry, dd never takes anything without asking first. If she did, the house is laid out in such a way that we'd see her anyway (not on purpose obviously, just a Victorian house! Grin)

BrianAndHisBalls · 29/08/2010 11:28

can i dump dp and join you in the shagging of young staff please?

Yup, ate the whole thing. And the first thing he asked DH this morning, before the evidence was discovered was could he make some toast.

DH informs me that he has had four packets of crisps as well. Hmm

Thanks saf. I just hope there isn't something bothering him, as this seems to be his coping strategy.

Can I come and visit you in your den of inequity retirement home?

Right, off to buy school shoes and a car seat that DD can't escape from. Grin

Catch up later.

TotalChaos · 29/08/2010 13:09

bitter - agree with saf - don't punish with anything involving food, to avoid risk of future "ishoos". could he be aware/stressed about start of school looming, as there doesn't seem to have been problems over the hols???

I tend to be soft as shite not int o discipline - partly as DS is usually good as gold when not with family Hmm and partly because tbh I spoil him rotten in some ways because of his mild SN. So I suppose if he nicks crisps/biscuits I am not as bothered as I ought - I mean I would be pissed if he did it just before dinner say but otherwise I am shamefully slack. Never had a situation like the tiramisu one though (probably because he's a fussy eater rather than due to innate virtue±!)

BrianAndHisBalls · 29/08/2010 13:16

yes, good point TC, DD doesn't not steal food because she's innately virtuous either Grin. She'll happily steal other stuff just not bothered by food Hmm Smile

saf - feel the same here. We bought dd1 lots of craft stuff to do, but she flits from one activity to another in seconds, very frustrating. You get everything out then in two mins shes bored and gets another thing out. She's always 'theres nothing to doooooooo' Hmm

Ive just been outside with her, shes got a wooden playhouse/slide and a trampoline. She stood it about 8 mins then wants to come back in to watch tv. Argh. Ive turned it off and shes now, finally playing ponies under the dining room table.

I don't drive either so when we're on our own its a bit tricky. Park down road is ok but as you say it keeps raining.

Hi Alice Smile
