ooh UNO stay strong. very best luck.

QueenofDreams · 21/07/2010 16:18

I know iggi it just sits oddly with me because I know what DP is like. How I would EXPECT him to be is standing with his hands in his pockets with a polite smile, not haveing his arm draped over someone looking relaxed and comfortable with the position (IYSWIM) Especially as he goes on about how he hates these people and the fact he spends more time with them than he does with me.

double that is a possibility, they always drink shedloads on their work dos (the boss is a stereotypical irishman)

TotalChaos · 21/07/2010 16:26

If he's uncomfortable with his work colleagues, even more likely he ended up completely trollied so he could bear spending the evening with them iyswim! speak to him, but I wouldn't be too bothered.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/07/2010 16:28

Afternoon.

QOD, I'm sure it is all perfectly innocent with a bit of alcohol thrown in to the mix.

UNO good luck and stay strong.

Gigi, that's so sad. I think I'll lock DD in a cupboard until she is twenty. Being on MN sometimes makes me forget that tinternet is not just used for good.

Saf and double, enjoy the pub.

thanks TC you're probably right. This is probably more to do with my current insecurity over my body/lack of money/lack of decent clothes/lack of work than anything else.

Hello, am back. Got seen pretty quickly (although had to put £3.50 in the bloody meter for the car park - robbing bastards). They have glued his head. Cannot wash his hair for a couple of days. They have advised that he should not be doing the 10 mile walk on Friday that the whole school do every year.

BoF - I will go and look for your SIl's thread - as I have no idea what is going on.

Hope everyone is ok. It is so close and humid here it is giving me a headache.

Pork chops, salad and new pots for tea. Although I have just shovelled down a homemade shortbread biscuit .

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/07/2010 16:48

Bella, is DS ok? What actually happened?

Agree about hospital parking - daylight robbery.

Apparently a Yr7 boy (DS1 is Yr8) was messing around and chucking a plastic lucozade bottle about. It was three quarters full. He threw it backwards, but did not realise that DS1 was behind and it hit him full force on the side of his head. He put his hand up to his head and then his friends realised that blood was pouring from the side through his hands

I am just going to plug SIL's thread again for Shiney and bella and anyone who hasn't seen it. I really hope she stays on MN- it could be really great for her.
