I need to book the spa and the trains to Manchester soon.

I HATE booking trains, it's a huge pain in the bum and it annoys me that we can't just turn up and have them bring a ramp for us! Still, will be worth it when we're chilling out I suppose.

Hello I am Bella and currently sat in A&E with Jack DS1 who was involved in a bit of an unfortunate accident at school which involved throwing, a bottle and Jack's head.

Trills I am sure the term they teach the kids is super cooled. Not as is cold or frozen but as is very thick and viscous. doesnt glass have a rediculously low freezing point...

this is going to bug me so willbe back when had time to have a look in a book, do school run and opticians.

I have just had to contact a local school. One of the pupils has just been publically accused of being a "peedo" on facebook. she has been named with photo. Having spoken to the school it seems the girl (high school age) had allowed her boyfriend to take a rather naughty photo. he then uploaded it to some site that allows the photo to be shared. boys in the lower years of teh school got hold of the photo from this site, his parents contacted teh police as he told them she had sent it to him directly.

poor girl must be mortified.
the pupils involved agreed not to tell the school but clearly theyhave.

Facebook have taken the page down now thank god and thankfully the school will be dealing with the girl who set the page up.

grrr. so i have spent the morning chasing all that up rather than getting any work done. and it has totally terrified me about how dangerous the sites teenagers go on can be.

so glad DD isn't that old yet.

ooh SAF toad in the whole is luvverly.
you need to make sure yo let the batter sit in teh fridge for about an hour.

When you cook it make sure the little oil you have in the pan is smoking hot before you put the batter in.

that way it will come out crispy and light.

yummm.

I put a teaspoon of mustard powder in my batter for a bit of kick too.

Hope ds1 is ok, ouch. and that you dont have too long to sit waiting in a&e and that the damage is not bad.

Gigi - that sort of thing scares me, so does what poor Mittz and her ds are going through. You can protect them when they are small, but you can do that forever. Can only really take some small consolation that the majority of people don't have to go through such things.
