So, our 1,000,000,000 and who knows what thread!

All diet and exercise plans welcome, let's support each other and talk about sex healthy eating!

So, to recap, I'm LV, and so far I've lost approx 6lbs with many more to go

My newly decorated front room is on my profile..nothing exciting just clean and tidy lol!

wastingaway · 24/07/2010 09:26

Morning gorgeous ladies.

It really breaks my heart what some of you go through.
I wish I could make all the hurt (and Xs) disappear.

Mittz, I think moving would really help you. Even if you can't do it yet, perhaps planning for it might give you something to look forward to. I know I feel so much better with something to plan for.

Alice, we have a historical beef with Razorlight, , but glad you have a good time.

DS used to get hiccups all the time. I'm quite prone to them, but he doesn't seem to suffer too much now.

Mittz can't see your profile

Wasting - i said to DH "I know he is supposed to be a right cock, but you can't fault their playing"

Double - he is not good enough for you i'm afraid

Must get dressed now

Mittz · 24/07/2010 10:01

I think it's open now Alice.. I hide it when I am talking about certain stuff

I am a mistress of cunning and disguise.. impossible to trace .....

Alicetheinvisible · 24/07/2010 10:11

That looks nice Mittz. I must get round to getting photos of ours, but everything is still a bit higgledy piggledy still. Kitchen being started on wednesday too

wastingaway · 24/07/2010 10:17

Ooh Mittz that looks lovely.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 24/07/2010 11:10

Mittz your room looks great, I love the bold colours of the furniture against a simple background, it works really well. Sorry you're feeling rubbish today. Some days are harder than others, and lets face it, you've had a way-above-average crap week. And you've had to hold it all together while it was going on. No wonder you've got to today and woken up low. It will pass. Keep talking, keep sharing. It helps so much.

Morning everyone, I'm very about last night. I wasn't that drunk, honest. Just enough to let the anger out I suppose, I was only on my second glass. But suddenly after a week of numbness I just felt an overwhelming "how dare he?!"

Mouse your advice was spot on, I wish he hadn't arrived just as I hit post, I only saw it later. And it's exactly what I ^should have done . Oh well.

He was actually very sorry and understanding while I ranted at him. He stood and took it and didn't run away and hide.

In some ways I did need to get it all out, but it was rather undignified.

Gigi I love it when the dcs accidentally show how much the love each other . It's so sweet how much effort ds1puts into whining about ds2, but then you'll catch them playing together when they think no one's about and they're both just being so sweet.

Nice to have photographic evidence!

Morning everyone.

Breakfast is a mug of tea. Lunch may need to be an enormous fry up at this rate. Is there any way to do one which is a bit more healthy? Other than just grilling everything? I need comfort food, but if I put on weight it'll drag me down. Ah that lovely old catch22.

Gigantaur · 24/07/2010 11:20

grill the bacon, put halved tom's in the microwave, scramble the eggs in the microwave, dry fry the mushrooms. that is all pretty healthy and low (ish calories and yet filling)

if you must have a sausage make sure its a big fat lovely one to make it worth while.

I said to DS that he was cuddling his sister last night, he repsonded with a very teenage "noooo" i said you did, here's the photo.
He blushed and said " i must have thought she was the pillow"

he's so funny.

Mittz the room looks fab. bery homely and bright.

Gigi you are a truly wonderful woman! Fry up here I come!

I love the pillow comment . God forbid he admit to caring.

ID, I'm ok. Bit tired and drained, but also feeling a bit more positive. Thanks for asking.

How're you all this grey overcast morn? (I realise I live in a microcosm. That rarely shares its weather with the rest of the country, so it's probably either sunny or torrential downpours everywhere else)

Vinnny · 24/07/2010 11:39

morning

mittz your room looks lovely and cosy

i am childless now, shower and back to bed for me

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 24/07/2010 11:39

Ds1still hasn't realised about his dad, one of the advantages of him not being interested in seeing him. He'll click one day. He occasionally asks after him, but what can i say beyond 'things didn't work out between us but we both love you'. I haven't seen the bloke in twelve years. Ds probably has siblings. A whole family he's not a part of.

I used to try to get him to see ds. But he I insisted that I travel up to see him and we both stay the weekend every other weekend.

My reply that he needed to come down to see ds was met with 'if that's what you want I'll never see him and I doubt he's even mine'

So he saw him once for an hour when he was four weeks old, again for a couple of hours when he was eighteen months, and then never again.

I used to occasionally send a letter with updates and a couple fo photos to his last known address. But I never got a reply, and stopped about five years ago.

Ds1 is the most lovely boy. I'm bloody relieved he looks like me though!

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 24/07/2010 11:40

Morning vin, sounds nice.

Mouseface · 24/07/2010 11:45

Morning, tis me, Mouseface.

Alice - yay for a gret night and a hiccuping baby. DD and DS did it and I loved it. Watching my stomach pop up and down.

Mittz - lovely Mittz. As Alice said a year is nothing. 6.5 years on and I still wobble. There is no time line for the healing of one's soul. xx

Double - how are you today? Did you sleep?

Crunchy - don't be about last night, better out than in as Mittz has said. How did you leave things with him?

Gigi - 2 bacon butties here this am. No sauce or butter. And we are celebrating properly tonight (the house sale and MrMouse's BDay tomorrow) with some fizz (veuve clicquot ), steak and salad and homemade lemon cheesecake for afters, that I made last night so it set.

How are the DCs today Gigi?

So, a day off and 'date night' too!!! Whoo hoo!!

Vinnny · 24/07/2010 11:46

wow crunchy he sounds like a nice selfless bloke (not!) your ds is better off without him

Double - you sound like you had a fecking night from hell when we were chatting on FB.

What did she do? Or tell me on FB if you don't want it public or don't say at all. Just want to know you are ok. xx

VINNY - Yay!!! How are ya lovely?

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 24/07/2010 12:26

ID, sorry you're having a bad time too.

Vin, we're definitely better off without him in our lives.

For all I can bitch about h, he took on ds1 when he was one and has been a complete 'dad' to him. Treats all three of them exactly the same, as do his parents.

Mouse have a fantastic weekend! That all sounds lovely.

I'm going to have a calm chat with h latere. No wine involved, promise.

And then I'm going to collapse with a DVD and my three gorgeous dcs.

I bought them some Lego as a surprise start to the holidays and the boys actually squealed when it arrived this morning

They're now upstairs playing with it together. Dd is asleep and I have five minutes to myself!

Mouseface · 24/07/2010 12:36

Crunchy - sounds like a plan. Enjoy your time with the DCs.

I'll be around on and off today, and maybe to say farewell to this thread later tonight depending on how full it gets.

Just try to stay cool. Don't let him get to you. Try to listen - breath - respond.

Nice deep breathes okay? xx

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 24/07/2010 12:42

Will do mousey. Deep breaths, counting to ten...

I'll run on here and scream occasionally.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/07/2010 13:13

Hello, I'm Back.

Shiney - very to see you go, I do understand but that doesn't make it less sad.

Mouse - Yay for house selling and date night. Hope MrMouse has a lovely birthday.

Gigi - I can't believe x would do that to the DC.

Mittz - your living room looks really cosy - I love the splashes of colour.

To all those leaving, don't feel you have to stay away if you change your minds.

Wedding was lovely. The groom got so choked up during his speech he had to sit down and compose himself. And the DC behaved impeccably.

And I have turquoise nails, they are making me

Mouseface · 24/07/2010 13:15

Glad you had a great time at the wedding....... I forgot

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 24/07/2010 13:22

You had bigger things going on mouse - You are entirely forgiven.

Mittz · 24/07/2010 14:46

I have been to Derby and only bought what I went for. I am proud of myself

Shoes for DS. I need to get my Dad a birthday present but am at a loss what to get. Could't face trawling Derby. I hate shopping. Might go the clothes route. Local shopping village will come up trumps hopefully.

Glad the wedding went well Bitter and yayy for nails.
