This is our millionth or summat like that thread.

We are all here to help each other in whatever way is needed.

Lots of cock diet and healthy eating chat .

DeFluffs - how is the salad cream diet going? Surely using it as a laxative is not a good thing?

Wasting - YAY!!! What a great loss! Well done you!

Bitter - hope work isn't too busy!

Alice - YAY and double YAY for 36 weeks. I'm so giddy for you!!!!!

Norma - do you make cards on request? MrMouse has a birthday 25th July and it's our wedding anniversary on 29th July. Our theme was Seahorses (because they mate for life - I know, corny) but I can never find a nice anniversary card with Seahorses on.

Could you help please? I will obviously pay you for materials and your time..... pretty please?!!!

Shiney - yum, cherries!! Nice to see you back.

Jaq - at a Bella and a half to lose!

Let's not lose Bella, I know she's tiny but still!!

I want to lose another 4 ponds I think so I'm sticking to doing the Lord. I'm going to do him hard too!! (Ooo er) No slipping up!

Double - how are you my lovely?

Has anyone heard from Iggi? Is she away. And how is Yank?

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 12/07/2010 12:31

Alice, I'd run but that sounds too much like exercise. Aw, what a welcoming lot you are.

I missed the houseboy thread, had a quick look at it yesterday and it looked like a nice wind up. Can't believe she was boasting about her trolling elsewhere. That's stupid trolling that is.

We need more intelligent trolls.

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/07/2010 12:34

Mouse - iggy is ok just busy with rl atm.
Not heard from yank though.

I'm DEM and I need to lose 2 stone and the sodding hayfever/toncilitus/sinusitus combo I have going on. RL is madder then usual and my computer is growing sick.

Have a good day peeps.

Just had cup a soup and ryvita with laughing cow light for lunch. Need to make some proper nice soup.

bellavita · 12/07/2010 13:14

Am eating a rather nice Mittz style chopped salad with some luscious fresh salad cream!

OP posts:
TotalChaos · 12/07/2010 13:16

ah now there's a proper dieting post if ever I saw one Trills

shiney - yes, the shred will kill you. don't do it unless you're a masochist. keep with the moving faster under cover of darkness instead.

bellavita · 12/07/2010 13:16

and and...... I talked to the lovely Mouse this morning and I can confirm that she is truly luscious

VinnyTheTit · 12/07/2010 13:19

i had proper nice soup for lunch

TrillianAstra · 12/07/2010 13:20

I like ryvita. The sort with seeds, not the plain cardboardy kind, they stay crispy even if you don't put them somewhere airtight, unlike normal crackers.

I bought teeny tiny cake cases today after seeing my friend's teeny tiny cute cakes at the weekend. Going to make some mini cute cakes.

Bella do you have a suggestion for some icing that will be soft enough to push a smartie into the top of, but then turn hard so as not to get all smooshed on the way to work?

bellavita · 12/07/2010 13:30

What about normal run of the mill icing you make with icing sugar and water Trills?

OP posts:
TotalChaos · 12/07/2010 13:33

I do as well, I even like the plain ones (hangs head in shame). good with olive spread or marmalade.

fluff - you see you were bang on to suspect DP of poisoning you . must admit to a mouldy jam incident too, until last year I always thought jam was fine to keep in the cupboard

Mouseface · 12/07/2010 13:35

She is uber lovely.

I now know, thanks to today's weigh in, that she is small enough to fit into my pocket!

Bonus.

TrillianAstra · 12/07/2010 13:35

Ah yes, normal icing. If I have cakes on top of other cakes the icing of the bottom ones gets messed up. Maybe it'll work if I keep them in the fridge til I'm ready to take them to work.

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/07/2010 13:39

Trill - add less water and more icing sugar - its makes it more like a paste and sets a bit better.

DeFluffy · 12/07/2010 13:45

Total - hes a bastard, I knew it was him

My mums the worst, she has packets in her cupboards from 1998 Actually I did have one particular packet of rice that I seemed to carry from one student house to another for about 5 years

Yep - second what DEM said, less water, more paste like.

For those not on my facebook, DP has started calling Mole 'ParaMole - she kills 99.9% of all known relationships stone dead'. He thinks its funny because she keeps being wide awake at about 9pm till 11pm/midnight so anytime we might get to ourselves we don't.

LollipopViolet · 12/07/2010 13:48

OK where the hell did the last thread go? It's gone from my Threads I'm on thing!

Ah well, anyway, I've just got back from swimming. 20 lengths of the pool done. We're having stir fry tonight And today I've started my healthy eating/exercise thing in earnest. Going to go and put it all into my wonderful new friend Food Focus. Just chilling out now, might do some Wii Fit in a couple of hours.

Just wish it wasn't raining. BUT, usually rain would put me off going swimming but I stuck with it!

DeFluffy · 12/07/2010 13:50

LV - That was my fault, I got all Barbara Windsor and then Bella got all Pat Butcher and then Trills got a bit Bianca and Lizzy came in and called time.

Anyway, not sure I said hi to you earlier, so hi! And WELL DONE on the swimming!

I cleared out my mum's cupboards last year, at the back I found one jar from 1974, a couple that I believe pre-date best before being used, and one priced 1s/2d

I kid you not.

Mittz · 12/07/2010 14:01

hullo.. hi crunch

I am working my arse off again. It is one way of losing it I guess.

lol at Fluffy's last thread round up .

I feel awful. I ache, have a headache and am so tired I could weep. (not down, just exhausted) I am struggling to keep on top physically of all that needs to be done. What can I do? The DC's break up soon and it gets worse.... I can't afford to cut down on hours but jeez...I daren't sit down because I just fall asleep, and then get behind. Going to have to cancel again DEM..

So I don't have time to keep up at the mo...

LollipopViolet · 12/07/2010 14:02

Hmm, best friend is possibly going to text with suggestions of the cinema tomorrow. This could be interesting as we usually go to Pizza Hut... Salad, salad and more salad lol!

I'm really tired. Reckon I might just do 30 minutes Wii Fit later and not press for any more!

Any food focus users know if there's a Wii Fit option under exercise? I'm actually annoyed because my best mate is a wheelchair user so when we go out I often push her, but there doesn't seem to be an option of pushing a wheelchair, only a buggy. I'd quite like an "Ice skating while pushing wheelchair" option, as we've done that a couple of times! I even made a film about my friend's very first skate! Was great, got screened at the uni screenings and is entered into a festival later this year hopefully!

Mouseface · 12/07/2010 14:03

Bad news alert.........

Remember my lovely friend who's husband beat her to within an inch of her life?

Well, she's just e-mailed me (was on the phone so she couldn't get through) to tell me this - (I've changed the names to dad, H, DD etc)

"Hi, thought I would let you know, H got 4 months suspended for two years, a £200 fine, 100 hours unpaid work and a big fat restraining order. That's it!! Dad was there and said his solicitor was nails! Now I'm off to my solicitors to get a residence order for DD. Dad said H was pathetic, was crying the whole time. He said he should been sent to prison for what he did to me.

Hope all is well with you and DCs. I'm feeling stronger by the day, thank you for of your support, you've really helped me."

I'm beyond fuming that her H has walked away from court today. Crown court too!!!!

Bloody injustice.

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 12/07/2010 14:09

Oh god, mouse, that's horrendous! Your poor friend! What is wrong with these judges? If he'd done that to a stranger he'd be strung up, it doesn't make it better that he did it to someone who should have been able to trust him it makes it worse!
