Help with swelling - top of left foot

Can you recommend any lotions or creams?

If is really red and sore (not cellulitis) where the scar is, despite not being near the sun.

the incision on foot hurts and the left leg feels heavier then ever : (

Is that normal for you? I'd be getting medical help for suspected infection.

Ahh sorry yes normal since last year but so painful today/yesterday.

A surgeon went in thorough the middle of foot I blacked out last year (removing flesh) April 2025 but it is still sore from the cut/suture down on the ball of foot.
I’ve tried lotions to grease of Vaseline nothing works.

Have you tried Sudocrem? That might calm it down a bit. Other than that, I would definitely suggest you go and see your gp, or a drop-in clinic. It looks really sore.
Also just wondering why you posted on the ‘General Election 2024’ topic?

That looks like cellulitis to me. You need to see a doctor.
I am also wondering what this has to do with the general election 2024!

@myyoungerselfyou need to self report your post and ask MNHQ to move it to Chat or Health or somewhere a bit more appropriate. A lot of people will scroll past “General Election 2024”.

I’d also get down to my GP/minor injuries/Drop in centre asap.

Thank you today it feels less awful then yesterday, sorry to take up everyone’s time and post wrong, I was just scared as the heat and redness wouldn’t go. Just swollen, sore after using many creams and Vaseline type grease.
