Tonight's TV debate Sunak v Starmer - any predictions?

Anyone up for a watch thread? Maybe even debate bingo. I know I know, don't threaten me with a good time. (Bingo suggestions: natural party of business, Labour has no plan, end the chaos, Rayner will take over, assorted references to Starmer's time as DPP probably blaming for Jimmy Saville again, inflation is down etc etc.)

At this point I seriously doubt anything like this will remotely change the game Nick Clegg style. I read somewhere the only way Sunak could come out of this ahead in the polls is if Starmer pulled off a mask scooby-doo style to reveal he's Jeremy Corbyn, which admittedly would be great telly.

I'm so fed up with the endless rhetoric but will definitely watch later anyway.

Sunak is coming across as rude, and isn't answering much.

Starmer is definitely pushing the ‘you don’t understand what this lady is going through’ - neither of them do really though do they and neither have actually said what they would do.

Starmer didn’t respond to the £2k tax accusation but equally Sunak just keeps mentioning this so called plan!

I must be watching a different debate from everyone else! I am pleasantly surprised by Starmer, who seems a bit less stodgy than usual, and I think Sunak is coming across as completely out of his depth. He sounds like a petulant teenager who only has a few sentences scribbled on the back of his hand and is hoping they will do.

Starmer is not giving any indication of what Labour is going to actually do to change things for the better, all he is doing is trashing the Tories which is fine but he needs to give some actual details of their plans to improve it.

Rules in the commons are that you can't call someone out for being a liar. I guess Starmers following gentleman's rules.
